Dear all,

This is a real tragedy. May be the worse possible. It can happen everywhere - in every society, in every country. Even if the details are different, the catastrophic consequences are similar. We can`t foresee the mad desperate horrible actions of the mad people.

Please receive my sincere deepest condolences!

My thoughts and prayers go out to every person who has been affected by this horrible tragedy. We, as a nation, are all grieving with you. There were more than just lives taken. The innocence of an entire campus was robbed. The murderer stole many things on that fateful morning, but he didn’t steal your Hokie pride. That pride is where your strength lies. May God bless you all.  Denia Salazar

As a University student for 6 years, I feel deeply for everyone at Virginia Tech. I would never ever have thought of this tragedy to occur because I believe in education and humanity. No one could have predicted this day, and I hope this event does not hinder the sights of a better tomorrow. I send my deep condolences to everyone directly affected, and I hope we live on to make a better world and contribute as much as individually possible.

May the Love of God, Love of the Holy Spirit and Love of Jesus bless all the families and comfort them. Holy Spirit, you are the comforter guide them and love them so they know that their love ones are with you in Heaven. Give them strength to continue to live for you and courage to forgive so Love can heal them. God is love. Forgive by faith, not how you feel but put the Holy Word in front of you, look through Gods eyes He’s talking to you personally. Tell the devil to take his hands off your mind and emotions if you keep getting thoughts of dieing. When you have bad dreams and day dreams ,cast them down, imagination II Corth 10 V 3-5. Change your thought pattern. Don’t let the demons whisper things to you. Do it all day and night get hold of your thought life. This can stop your healing. Share in a new friendship with Jesus talk and read and cry to him. Let His word speak back to you and resist when He says resist. Listen to that quite still voice in your heart. What would your love ones want you to do? Continue honoring and keeping dear their memories and special times together and let it bring love, joy and laughter in your heart. We will all see them sooner than we think.

The tragic bloodshed on 4/16/07 will be the day we’ll NEVER forget.

First off, I was greatly in distraught when it first aired on the news.  I felt as if my heart was ripped in half.  I don’t know what to exactly say other than pure chaos.  I feel saddened, yet enraged at the same time.  It’s too much and indescribable.  I wish I could do something to help.  I sympathize your sorrows.

Since classes are cancelled this week, now will be a perfect time for healing.

My condolences & prayers go to all the Virgina Tech victims; families; and the University.

To all who share in this time of great suffering:

“God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” - Matthew 5:4

For the families and friends of the loved ones they have lost:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit.”
- Psalm 34:18

And for those who are so hurt inside they feel they can’t go on, remember this:

“May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loved us and in his special favor gave us everlasting comfort and good hope, comfort your hearts and give you strength in every good thing you do and say.” - 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

You are never alone.

May God Bless & Keep You Always

May God open his arms to the victims in loving care and may their light shine upon us all.

May God comfort The parents, siblings, and relatives, and friends of the victims. May he comfort and strenghten the Faculty and the Students at VT, that they will be strong, healed, and have a peaceful future ahead of them.

May God Bless us all that crimes of this nature will be prevented by waking up society to mentally disturbed people who take the lives of others. May he grant us peace in this world and protect us from violence.

I pray for all who are grieving and hope that more positive rememberances of the victims is looked upon, instead of pictures of Cho. So many had dreams and lives of happiness, and that should be the main focus. Let us remember them with love and the fact that they shared themselves with others.

Peace Be With You,

A appeal from an European student:

Dear Americans, especially those of you who have suffered the lost of your close ones in this tragic event, please, use your grief not to produce rage, but react, react towards stopping this from happening again. USA is the country most affected by the school massacres: more of them happen in US, than in all other countries together. And US has a more open policy about carrying and purchasing weapons.

Please, do not join those who are using this tragedy to profet in favor of gun carrying. More guns would not bring less violence, but more. This is just pure common sense, but unfortunately, many think otherwise.

We are living in an era in which the entire world takes example from USA (for its human rights and anti-discrimination policies, business strategies, etc.) Perhaps this is a moment for America to look uponsome other parts of the world (i.e. Western Europe).

Don t let this keep happening. Do everything you can to change not only the laws, but the culture inside every person you meet, against gun carrying.

What can I say?  Noone could have predicted this horrendous trajedy.  Today this nation mourns over the loss of many innocent people.  This world moves so fast, and then things like this slow everything to a halt.  We all have strength within us.  It’s the ones dear to us that help bring it out.  I hope that all you are spending time with your family and cherrishing the important moments in life.
