I never thought that I could love people that I have never met, but when I had seen and heard what had happened at VT, my heart sank in my chest and I was filled with such sadness.  I know that there are so many people affected by this act of violence.  I just wanted to let the families and friends that are affected by this know that we are thinking about you all, and praying for everyone to overcome this great tragedy.  We can overcome this!  I have such admiration for all of you.  In my eyes you are all heros!!!  All of the people who had fallen victims to this are now dancing with the angels and our heavenly father.  I am proud to say that we ALL have some very wonderful gaurdian angels now.  With much love from kansas!!!

I just want to express my condolences to the families, friends, and all of the Hokie Nation… It is so horrible what happened to all of these people who meant so much to so many people… all because of one person’s cold-heart. Words cannot express how sorry I am, how much I personally have grieved over this incident, and how much prayer has gone into wishing you all the strength it is going to take to overcome this horrific event. My prayers and love are with all of you; as a fellow college student and most of all an American! ~Kristine Beaudoin

Everything happens for a reason,We may never know what the reason was for something so tragic like this. But we know that God is good and we need to love one another as He loves us. My prayers are with you and I want to reach out and hug each and everyone of you, but that is not possible, please know that you are loved and thought about by alot of people all over the world. Focus on the positive things in life, try to pick up the pieces and move on. Keep the memories to those who lost their lives close to your hearts and be a friend to those that seem lost. I can not express enough, how saddened I am over these events.  But never before have I seen such maturity, respect, compassion, dignity and honor from the young men and women of our country, as I have from the VaTech students interviewed in the aftermath of this disaster.  I have never been more proud of our youth, or more honored to be a Hokie.  Please accept my deepest sympathy, my most sincere of prayers, and my most honored compassion for what you’ve gone through.  You will prevail, and you make me proud.  God bless all of you.
