Words cannot express the pain and loss felt by the entire country, and no doubt, the entire world, by this senseless tragedy.  As a staff member of Syracuse University, where we suffered a great loss in the bombing of Pan Am 103, we share your grief at the loss of the students and faculty...those who aspired to make the world a better place and who inspire us all to do the same.  You all are in our thoughts and prayers.  Kelly

Even that i live in Finland, It’s far away from USA, but i still care about all the things that happened there.. I may have speaking bad english but anyway i do care and i will pray for those who lost their lives, those who were wounded and those who lost someone that they cared very much. That was dreadful tragedy and im so sorry that you have to feel pain and sorrow because some man desided to take your friends, sisters and child away from you. I have grieve and cried because i can feel you pain but i can’t understand what you have been through this day ‘cause i haven’t lose anyone close to me. I hope that all of us in the world can be together someday and be happy and not grieving all the time.
I will pray and i will remember those who died on that die.

Dearest students, faculty members and family of the victims,

When tragedy hits, it takes the strong to look forward and not be set back by what happened.VT has shown the world that you have what it takes to stand firm in your unity and not waver in your community spirit. That touched our hearts…

We send our warmest and sincerest thoughts and prayers to all of you.Eventhough we are so far away, we are with you in spirit…

Know that this tragedy has shook not only VT but the world. We are a Singaporean/ British couple living in Italy and we hope we represent the Euro-Asian perspective that senseless violence like these should not occur, much less to the innocent! We believe that VT can and WILL get through this…

God Bless,

Only a great period of time and much love from your freinds and family will slowly diminish the pain and sorrow you are experiencing now. Please know that there are millions of people, like myself, who though total strangers to you and yours, feel some of your pain and experience some of your immense sorrow.  We can only tell you that we love you and those of us that have experienced the loss of a young brother or sister, daughter or son, like you, feel some of your pain; we hope and pray for that time in life when you can move forward without the burden of overwhelming sorrow and will once again see the beauty and love of life and the brillant light of day. Bless you and yours.

We as a nation and the world send our condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the victims’ families as well as the one’s that was wounded in this tragic event. Words cannot bring your loved ones back but I sure hope this poem brings you comfort.

Today 32 lives were taken from the Earth. As we mourn the deaths of the students and faculties at Virginia Tech, you will forever be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. May God bless your souls and take all of you under his wings. May HE give your families and friends the strength to embark on this journey as they continue to live their lives without you guys in it. Your lives were cut short on this faithful day and now we will never know if one of you was to become the movers and shakers in the United States. May you find peace and happiness in the hands of the Lord. Rest in Peace.

Our family mourns with you all. Our youngest son of three boys, who is now only in 6th grade, has had his sights on being a vet and attending Tech since the third grade. We have known that VA Tech was special for a long time, but after witnessing the bond of the Hokie pride, I can only pray that my son gets the privelege of being a Hokie in the future. You have all shown the world what “family” is! Our prayers are with you and hope that time can ease your pain! We love you!
