But they are also for those who remain to carry on the Hokie Pride. Each of you are not only the future of a great country but also the future of a great university. I have cried everyday since this tragedy, and I honestly do not believe I personally knew a single person involved in this.

This touches mt soul in a way nothing has ever, I am so sorry that people had to loose their best friends, fathers, daughters, and sons in a disgusting manner such as this.

I pray for you all everyday, and while I know it won’t bring back loved ones lost, I hope it will help you all get through it all in one piece.

Strength be with you Hokie nation.

So saddened by all of this. I truely can not even begin to understand how someone can be so selfish and do such things to such wonderful innocent people. Just letting you know, myself and all other WVU students, are keeping you all in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. Somewhere down this tragic path, may you all find peace.

How many more people have to be gunned down before the law makers in this contry do something about guns being available to everybody and anybody. Yes we know “guns don’t kill people - people kill people” but God please don’t give us excuses anymore. As long as there are disturbed people walking the streets, these things will become a constant in our society. Please America - WAKE UP!

I would like to extend my thoughts and prayers with every parent, husband, wife, friend and family with those who attend Virginia Tech University.  This is a sad time in Virginia and nobody will ever know all the reasons why this student chose to take these innocent persons lives but we know that the only way we will get through this tragedy is to pray.  When I look at the television my heart is sadden and tears begin to roll down my face because I don’t understand why, but I know that God will see each and every family through this painful time.

Stay Blessed and Know that God Is!

Do not stand by my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am a diamond glint on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awake in the morning bush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight
I am the soft starshine at night
Do not stand by my grave and cry
I am not there… I did not die.

After two days of not crying - yesterday when the names and faces were released, I felt so connected with these victims - I just broke down and cried and cried.  I have a daughter who is a freshman in college.  I felt the anguish these parents must be going through.  I pray to God to comfort them and give them peace.  I hope you all know that you are in the prayers of millions in this country and around the world.

As I sat and watched the horror unfold, I tried to imagine what feelings those who were involved were going through, the word “WHY” kept floating through my mind. I can’t imagine what this must be like to have your whole life turned upside down by the hands of another, with no forwarning. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole VT community now and always as the pain and hurt of loosing so many will never go away.
