Psalm 91 (Amp)

1HE WHO [a]dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
2I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!

3For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

4[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield…

Great verses for you guys. You are in our prayers

Many Angels fly today
Above the reaching trees.
Lifting us up,
Watching our souls,
Whispering in our ears.

“Do not cry, we are here
We’ll never leave your side.
For you are our strength,
our love, our saints,
and we are just your guides.”

The goverment passed a law to ban incandescent light bulbs, days after the shooting, but not guns? How ironic. What will it really take.

May god bless and give strenght to the families and friends of VT.

I really was very shocked upon hearing the news. I am not related to anyone involved in this tragedy but I am deeply affected by it. I didn’t know about it until today. I extend my condolences to the families that have lost the lives of their loved ones because of this unexpected event. It surely has put a painful toll on our lives. Let’s just continue on praying.

Dear members of the Virginia Tech university,

I was really shocked when I learned what happened and I share your sadness in this tragedy. I know that what you’re going through is really hard, be brave… Some people say time is a healer… Of course, you will never forget all the people who lose their life, they will be in your hearts forever. Even if unfortunately they’ve lost their life, they will keep an eye on you from heaven…

I have cried daily as I have contemplated with terrible sadness the horrible loss suffered by a wonderful school and community.  Virginia Tech is a great school and the Hokies will, of course, continue to be a family in which greatness is born and nurtured.

Life is so fragile, and it is difficult if not impossible to understand this senseless tragedy.  May Almighty God send a healing to the families and victims and the ability to forgive the young man responsible.  One can never forget this, but I pray the healing will begin for students, faculty, families and the entire town.

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you always.

Everytime I hear of any tragedy in this Great Nation my eyes get full with tears.  I had no friends or family at VT, but it hurts to hear what has happened to so many innocent people. Whenever something happens like this you can not believe it at first, but then you hear a number of casulties then you get a name and a face.  Thats when It breaks me down.  I just want everyone at VT know that my heart truly goes out to the VT family and the Blacksburg community.  I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers.

Please know that the nation of JAPAN is mourning with you and thinking of you.  Your tragic event happened simultaneously as a Major was murdered here through a purposeful shooting, and while there is intense coverage of his sad death and funeral today, VT is forefront in news media (NHK TV & newspapers).  Many sad and concerned people here. You are a strong people and a wonderful community! Do not lose that. Keep those you lost “alive” with continual remembrances and outreaches of kindnesses. Strangers throughout the world are praying for you!  May the LORD’s HOLY SPIRIT HEAL you and keep your lives covered. Sincerely, an American living in Japan.

We in the state of South Carolina are sadened at this horrible tragedy that occurred on the campus of Virigina Tech. We try to comprehend what this young man could have been thinking when he went on this shooting rampage. I am so sorry for all the victims and their families for what they are going through right now. There are no words to express what I want to say to you, I only know that in this troubled time and world God is still in control. It is our faith that will get us through this awful tragedy. We are praying for all of you and are here to support you anyway we can. May God be with each and everyone of you and bring comfort into your life.

My heart aches with all who were effected by Mondays shooting. I agree with the Scott’s (Rachel Joy Scott was the first person shot in Columbine)- we do not need to focus on the man who did this, but instead on the victims. Cho Seung-Hui wanted to get attention, and that is what he is getting. We need to shift our focus unto all that were lost in this horrible event.
God bless everyone!

My deepest condolences to the families and friends of those lost too soon tragically, I offer a simple gift of my poem that has helped many friends through the tragic death of loved ones. I have posted a web page dedicated as a
memorial to your loved ones.

A Second In Time

Life is but a second in Time,
We touch those that we can,
Our souls they do entwine,
And pass in the night.

We give our strength and hope divine,
For all to share...Yours and mine.
We pass on and light the way,
For those we love in all our days.

We hope they remember each passing day,
That they spent with us as we light the way,
And keep us in their hearts as we pass away.

Tis’ only a moment that we are here.
Our wishes and dreams we hope they carry on,
As Time passes away.

We must be strong.
Our strength, our wisdom, our hopes,
Are carried by those we love for all Time.
