There just no words express our heartfelt condolences. We are all overwhelmed with shock trying to make sense of all this, trying to find answers what if… trying to cope. All we have now are memories. May these memories give you the strength and endurance to cope with your grieving process!  I want all the families to know that although I did not know your lost loves ones personally, they have touched my heart and soul..

To All Hokies

Today we are all Hokies!

As incredibly sad as this travesty makes me, I am also heartened by the incredible courage, wisdom, and grace being shown by my fellow citizens of Virginia. The students, faculty, and other residents of Blacksburg as well as across the state are showing the world what many of us have long known, Virginia is a beautiful, diverse state populated by bright, loving, proud and wonderful people. We are open to newcomers from around the world, and are building a better future for Virginia, the USA, and the world.

My sincere sympathies to all the families who have lost loved ones. I did not go to Virginia Tech, but my wife and several family & friends did. This week we are all Hokies.

One final note, in no-way should our brothers and sisters of Korean descent feel responsible for this event. They too are part of the fabric of Virginia and the United States. In many ways, large and small, our state and country are made better by their presence every day. Please make a point of reassuring them that the retribution feared by the media will not/should not occur.

That’s why we have to live each day to our best ability.

I attended VT, two of my brothers and their wives graduated from VT… one was even married there.  We are a Hokie Family.

I can’t imagine that campus and the beautiful people there having to live through something like that.  When I see it on TV, I still can’t really believe that it’s happening in Blacksburg, in a place where I spent some of my happiest days.

I am so proud of the way the VT community has responded.  You have all been so strong in the face this tragedy, and you have shown this country what it is to be a community and what it means to be a Hokie.

My thoughts are with everyone in Blacksburg.

I am so deeply upset, concerned and saddened by the tragic loss of live and the psychological impact this will have on all the students, facilty, alumni and families of the Hokie Community.  My heart goes out to all of the victims and their will be forever in my thoughts and prayers.

God Bless you and your families in this very trying time.

Dearest ones of Virginia Tech, being very concerned for you all I have e-mailed requests to psychic healer James Van Praagh and to practitioners of emdr (another healing modality) to please contact your college.  As the sun attempts to shine here in western Washington, I am thinking of you all - fellow caring human beings who deserve happiness, peaceful thoughts, and many years with loved ones.  As a human being who has survived crime and the loss of both parents when I was a teenager, my love goes to you in Virginia.  In my heart I’ll carry prayers for you today, while I am at school (WWU), and everyday.  Sincerely, Raven

HMMM, Words cannot be found to express the feelings I and everyone I know have about this horrible tragedy. I have a son who is attending college and knowing how I would feel if this were to happen to him or even his school would be the worst thing to have to experience. We are still shocked as the entire nation is. I watch the interviews and see the faces of the victoms, we can feel the sadness in the voices, its as like it happened to our own. Such beautiful young adults, talented teachers, just incredible people. We will always remember them even though we didn’t know them. We will always have a special place in our hearts and lives for all of you at VTECH. Please be strong, yet allow yourself to mourn, if you need help please seek it. I hope all of you can begin to heal and reach the goals you have set for yourselves. Don’t let this be taken from you. Your friends that are now in heaven wouldn’t want you to stop.Keep going for yourself and for them.

Our love and support forever,
