My deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and everyone involved. Words cannot express how this has affected myself, and the rest of the nation. To think that most of these young men and women are my age is absolutely heart wrenching. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.

"This sorrow needs no blame, no anger” - relish the memories, embraces, laughter and knowledge that each of victim’s have shared with each of you during their lives.

Focus the energy for healing each other -know that people worldwide are praying for each of you, the families, the friends, the responders and the medical personnel who attended the scene and the victims.

Know that a tree often bends in troubled times, yet stands proud and tall again and again…

To Everyone affected by this great loss,

No words can describe what it feels like to lose someone you love, a best friend, or someone you just spoke to not long before something so sad happens.  I can’t imagine what it must have been like in one of those class rooms or in the dorm that morning.  I wish so much that things like this doesn’t happen.  But a word for those who are suffering, Always remember God Loves You and everything that happens, happens for a reason. Even if it is so sad there is something to be learned.  And I think what was learned out of the extreme sadness on Monday was Not to take life for granted. Always be thankful, and don’t stay mad at anyone or anything, b/c every minute you spend mad is another minute you lose to be HAPPY....  I am praying for your family and wish you all the greats happiness in the world.

To all the Virgina Tech family we want to extend our thoughts and prayers to you in this time of sorrow. Although no words can ease the pain those directly effected by this tragedy are feeling, know that the nation and the world mourns with you.  Find strength in knowing that over time the pain will lessen but hold true the memories of those whose time was called by God. As we all morned with the tragedy of 9/11, we again turn to the inner strength as well as fellow mankind to help us through this difficult period.  May God Bless all of you and continue to watch over us during this time of need.

I am a visitor to this country and in US for the past 6 weeks. I am shocked to hear and listen what happened at your university. These killings are highly barbaric and not justified immaterial of what the intention of the killer is..

I respect the value of life and my condolences are with the familes and friends of who lost their lives. Its amazing the way whole of US has responded. No incident is without learning. Lets all learn and make the world free of such incidents going forward..

It is hard to know what to say regarding the events that unfolded on Monday morning across the campus of Virginia Tech.  I am not a student, I am not an alumni and I, fortunately, did not know any of the victims.  No matter what my connection may be with the people directly affected by this tragedy, I am deeply saddened by the magnitude of this horrible devastation.  I will keep all of the victims, their families, and the rest of the Virginia Tech community in my thoughts and prayers and hope that God watches over them and guides them through this unfortunate time.

With the deepest sympathy

We would like to express our condolence to the students at Virginia Tech and the affected families. The sad news was a shock to us and our fellow students at our high school. Even though we are from a far-away country we are also affected by this tragic incident.

One year ago we experienced something horrible, too. During a Halloween party a female student was stabbed to death by her jealous ex-boyfriend who had no connection to our school whatsoever. Two other students were wounded, one of them very seriously and is now permanently disabled. Many students were witnesses to the tragic murder. This tragedy has influenced everybody strongly, but now one year later we have moved on – though it will always have a place in our minds.

To conclude this condolence we just want to add that we have been profoundly touched. We hope and trust that God will help you find an explanation that can help you move on.
