As a former resident of Blacksburg and a former VT employee for 26 years, I was shocked and heartbroken that such a horrific tragedy struck the beautiful, peaceful campus of VT.  Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and God will give each of you the strength to survive and move on with time.  We will never forget 4/16/07 or the students and faculty who lost their lives to such a senseless act of violence.

There are no words to descirbe the pain in all our hearts.  Being from Southwest Virginia I know and have experienced God’s country.  Blacksburg is truely God’s country.  May you all find peace and love as you look at the Blue Ridge Mountains that reach to heaven.
To Mr. Flinchum and President Steger, stand tall and proud during this difficult time.  You have shown more class than any of media personnel that have shown their true colors.  May God Bless you.
To the students and staff, stay proud of Virginia Tech and rally around each other.  I pray for peace in all your hearts.
May God Bless and surround you all.

First, my heart is so sad and my family and I are praying for the recovery of the survivors and for the healing of the lives that were lost to the ones they leave behind.
I know how hard this must be for the students who saw or heard what happened, because I have been through this also.  In 1995 we had a domestic shooting at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham,WA.  I was taking a test just 25 feet from the fatal shooting.  I heard enough and feared for my life to last me forever.  Thank God know one else was injured, just scared. I will be keeping the victims and surviors in my prayers forever.

God Bless All Of You

It is so hard to say GoodBye....

I never thought once that you would die.
I think about all those memories we shared....
I will always love you and know that I really cared.
Why could this have been an endless dream....
Deep down in my heart I just want to scream…
My soul is cold and I can not bare the sorrow…
I just wish I could see you one last time tomorrow…
I am looking for to saying that special “Hi”....
I heart is broken because I did not say GoodBye!
This goes out to everyone effected by this insensitive tragedy in this time of endearment. “Keep your Head Up” and Keep the faith.
