Condolences, April 18, 2007

For the family of Liviu Librescu,

Glorified and sanctified be God’s great name throughout the world which He has created according to His will. May He establish His kingdom in your lifetime and during your days, and within the life of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon; and say, Amen.

May His great name be blessed forever and to all eternity.

Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, extolled and honored, adored and lauded be the name of the Holy One, blessed be He, beyond all the blessings and hymns, praises and consolations that are ever spoken in the world; and say, Amen.

May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life, for us
and for all Israel; and say, Amen.

He who creates peace in His celestial heights, may He create peace for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen.

As a VT Alumni, I want all my brother and sister Hokies to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  It is a sad time when you walk around your home in fear.  That is what VT is, Home.  Whether you attend VT or not, everyone has always been welcome.  I will miss those we lost, and am greatful for those that survived.

Much Love to all my Hokies,

To all that have lost or experience the tragey there on campus as well as your family members I want to first say that you all are in my thoughts and prayers and I am deeply sorry for your pain whether physical or mental, I wish there was more I can say or do , but times like this what anyone can say or do is very limited, but I just want to let you all know that my prayers are with you all and to let you all know that God is there with you, He knows better then anyone else what you are going through and if you lean on Him He will lighten your load, He is just a prayer away waiting for you to come to Him, He said in His word “that I will never leave you nor forsake you” but if you can’t pray right now He do know your heart, and He will give you all the peace you lone for at this time, so PLEASE keep your eyes on Him because He has His eyes on you, He knows what you need , just lean on Him because He DO love you and He do know your pain. May God Bless You all. YOU ALL ARE IN MY PRAYERS !!!

While we pray for the victims, their families, the injured and college at large, let us not forget to pray for the first responder emergency personnel who did not hesitate in the time of crisis.
My heart goes out to the men and women of VT law enforcement - the dispatchers who answered the 911 calls, the officers, paramedics and EMT’s who have, and will continue to give their utmost.
In my humble opinion, each officer and EMT/paramedic who answered the calls are angels here on earth for having endured the horror of this mass casualty and yet never faltered in providing emergency servies.
God Bless Virginia Tech.

To all of the families who have lost a loved one, our hearts and prayers are with you. As a mother, I can’t imagine sending my son off to college, to grow, to learn and mature, thinking that he will be safe, when in truth something like this can happen. Try to take solace that your children are in a better place, and maybe take this horrible event, and try and make this world a safer place for all the other children. May g-d bless you and your loved ones and the children you have lost.
