My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims and those who survived, who will forever have the memories of the horrible day etched in their minds.  Such a tragedy, such a loss for so many people.  Please know that I am not the only one in this great nation, country, and worldwide who hold you in our thoughts and prayers this day and each day to come.  I know you have God, your family and friends to support you and offer words of encouragement during this time, but please also realize so many of us who do not know you are holding you in our hearts now and forever.  God is with each and everyone of you as always.  I am deeply sorry for the loss to family, friends, VT and the community as well as the nation.  Each victim holds a special place in our hearts, their reservations in Heaven were filled and now they are special angels watching over us.  May peace be with each of you in the days to follow.  The world has you in their hearts, even those like me, who know none of you personally, yet your personal tragedy has touched me.  God is with you, and you are in my thoughts and prayers.  ~Janet~

Andreia, 32 anos.

May the good Lord watch over you all and may you find peace and security through faith and friendship. I am sick with saddness and regret that something so terrible could happen to our fellow man. God bless us all! Virginia Tech, you have our undivided attention and we all stand ready to help you in any way possible to get you all through this tough time.

As the Mother of a college student I would like to say how sorry I am that this has happened!  It is sad to think that one unhappy person can bring so much sorrow to so many!  I can’t help but wonder where God was when this was going on.  I guess that we are ment to learn from this but I’m not sure what the lesson is!  May God bless all of the people at VT and beyond!!  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  I pray that you pain will be lifted but the loved ones not forgotten! One leason we can learn is to make sure you tell those around you that you love them every chance you get because you never know when it will be that last time!!!  Life is too short to hold grudges - be forgiving!  With that in mind lets try to carry on in a manner that would make those we lost proud!  God Bless You All!  Let the healing begin today!!!  Jane Zimmer

We are deeply saddened by the senseless destruction of life and extend our sympathies and prayers to the families of those lost and to the fellow students and faculty of VT.  We also extend our prayers to the family of the perpetrator who must also be in deep pain over the acts of their son and brother.  We pray that all who are so lost that they may see such acts of violence as a statement find the help and counseling that they need so there may one day be an end to this kind of horror.  God bless VT and her entire family.

My sadness cannot be expressed for this tragedy. A deadly tragedy like this should not take place, but it happened.
Every victim is not deserved to pass away, but they are deserved to take a peace in heaven. I hope all faculties and students overcome this tragedy soon, but please remember the victims of 16 April.

I’m so sad and upset at the same time. I’m leaving in a country where to buy a gun is extremely hard, compare to yours. Do you think that this has nothing to do with this tragedy? (Don’t forget Columbine). My heart is near to all parents that have lost theyer sons.

My heart is breaking to know that my alma mater is in so much pain.  I can’t express enough to the families of this tragedy how much I am thinking of them.  To me, Tech is so much more than just 4 years of my life. To me it is part of who I am and who I have become.  It is such a magical place and I know that it will once again become that.

This tragedy is a great loss. May all of you be guided in your personal healing process and restore your confidence in what life has before you.

May all of you have the courage to act on your suspicions when you are aware of a red flag no matter how crazy it seems.

April 18, 2007, 8:11am • Tucson, AZ • #9241

My thoughts and prayers are with all whose life has been touched by this tragedy.  As a teacher, I am reminded how helpless we are in protecting our students from a tragedy like this.  Many heroes surfaced during this tragedy, many beautiful lives lost, and many hearts broken.  Keep your faith and allow your Hokie spirit to rise, and may God be with you along your journey.  May you once again find some peace in your life.  God bless you all.

Although I did not attend Va. Tech as a student, I have been blessed enough to be a member of a true Hokie Family and have attended many functions at the beautiful campus.  This tragic event has left me with a deep sadness and a hole in my heart for families, faculty and friends of lost loved ones.  My love, thoughts and prayers are with all who are grieving.
