Condolences, April 18, 2007

i am a 16 year old student in England. i have a great interest in the incident and the evil person who was behind the dreadful act, i study his past etc and i am slightly overwhelmed by what i have found. i am sure that it is a shock to all of you and you are all upset to different extents. for all of you who have lost somebody- i feel for you. i hope that there is soon a clear sky after this awful storm. stay together and stay strong. i am sure your friends wanted you to do well in exams, i hope you do, don’t let this man’s sickening work spoil your life. i am only in high school but i realise that this is one of the most horrofying and maulicious things in american history. my thoughts and prayers are with the victims who are injured, the people who have suffered loss, and those innocent spirits of the passed away. they are in peace, no longer feel pain. let it be, they will always be close to you, you willl meet them again, when it is time for you. never forget them.

Good always wins over evil.  Remember that God will take care of those who are lost.  All of your loved ones are at peace, are happy, and are in a better place.  I believe that they want to tell you that they are o.k. and are waiting for you.  You shall see them on the other side.

To My Fellow Hokies

I can only begin to understand a fraction of what you must be feeling - confused, angry, shocked, wounded.  I’m currently abroad in the UK but my thoughts are in Blacksburg, with you as you walk across our ever sinking drillfield, with you at the stadium where we cheer with pride… My heart is absolutely torn with this tragedy and I only hope you all have the support you need to get through this difficult time.  Be strong Hokies.

To VA Tech Parents, Students and Staff,
You are not alone in your grief.  The whole world is weeping with you.
The tragedy is the senseless loss of our future through the death of innocent students and professors.
The hope is that we can recover from our grief but never forget.
My prayers go out to the families of the lost children, including the troubled young man’s family.

To all victims parents and especially to Joseph T. Samaha Jr. & family,
We are equally grieved and shocked. As things never be rewound, may the Lord accept their innocent and young souls and give you all the virtue of patience…

I’m sitting here trying to find the words to describe the pain i feel in my heart for everyone affected by this senseless tragedy.Growing up my dream was to go away to college and make something of myself. Instead i let fear paralyze me and i stayed close to home. Those kids ventured out and was making names for themselves. I pray that you will in time be able to move forward.
April 16 will forever be engraved in the hearts of everyone and you guys will forever be in my prayers.

Dear all,
I just want to share your sorrow and bring you my little support. I was an exchange student at USC last semester. Thanks to all students and professors, this was a great experience. Today, more than ever, I feel part of the American students community.
For those who are not with us anymore, we have the duty to continue their work. Alltogether we can recover, dream again and build a better world where our colleges and schools will remain great places to learn, teach, help each other and build strong human friendships.
May God bless all of us and offer a peaceful rest to our loved friends.

My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims…

“Every test that you experience is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps His promise and He will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm. At the time you are put to the test, He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.” 1 Cor. 10:13
