Let not your hearts be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me. In my fathers house are many rooms: if it were not so, would I have told you that. I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. [JN. 14:1-3]

Our Deepest Condolences and Sympathies go out to all the families, the loved ones, and all those affected by this senseless tradegy.

Our prayers will not only be with you now but as your life continues on, trying to cope with and trying to make some sense out of this tradegy.

God Bless and In Peace,
Dave, Michelle, Branden, Caitlin, Bridget and JoJo

I am not a Hokie, nor am I a Virginian, I am however, a fellow citizen shocked and saddened by the events of this week. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Please know that there are millions of us all over our nation and around the world keeping you close in mind and spirit. So far, from what I have read and seen you are a very close-knit community - hold on to one another, grieve with one another, remember and go forward in the names of those taken so suddenly from your midst. God Bless the deceased, their families and the entire Hokie nation.

It deeply saddens me that a tragedy of this atrociousness has taken place. I wish that we as a society could have taken preventive measures to circumvent this occurrence. But in the end I know deep down inside that this is not our fault. We must remain faithful and stand by the notion that the good will always prevail over evil even during these unbearable times. My condolences go out to all families of the innocent victims.

My thoughts and prayers go to each and everyone of the friends, teachers, families, associates and communities of the individuals who perished in this horrific tragedy at VT.  As both a mother of a soon-to-be college student and as a college student myself, I pray that we as a country, state, city, community, and as individuals learn from this experience and that any future tragedies like this can be prevented by listening, watching, and caring enough about the people around us to say “I care and I’m here for you.”

My the Creator comfort both your heart and mind during this time,

There are those times in life where words fail. This is one of those moments. Even in light of that recognition, I wanted to offer a few words of compassion: May God lay his healing hands on your hearts and may you lean on him in this time of great tragedy.

Although there are so may questions and so little answers, I hope that you all know that there are those of us out here who care. While we do not pretend to know you pain, we care.

May God Bless All of You.

Duele el dolor de tanta herida
se desdobla la vida como un
abecedario inconcluso

Please know of my sorrow over the loss of precious life on your campus. I was struck by the professional way that the students at Virginia Tech addressed the media, talking to reporters calmly. You showed real class and maturity. You are beautiful inside and out and I pray for you in the days to come.

To the entire Virginia Tech Hokies family. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you. Today my family and I bought t-shirts and had a man at our mall air brush the Virginia Tech logo with the ribbon. Their school at Tunstal middle and the highschool are paying tribute on Friday. Both of my boys would like to go their for college. I watched the vigil last night and was so proud to hear the chants and support as everyone came together. God Bless you all. You will all overcome this but will never forget that day. We will pray for your strength as you mourn from this horrible tragedy. Take care and Godbless. sincerily. the Ellis family in Danville
