Dear All

I’m very sad to hear this tragedy. I’m praying for the innocent and everyone of us as well.

‘I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!’
(John 16:33)

As a university lecturer, I become more aware of how education should be conducted, not simply in a way of sharing information and knowledge but in a way of sharing love and attitude towards life, etc.

I bet that everyone would agree with me that if the killer had felt that love is just around, he wouldn’t have done so.

‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’
(Luke 10:27)

May God be with you all.

I pray that VT will be a landmark to improve our system to find and to take care of the mentally insane.

Also, that VT will be a leader in solving the system to prevent mentally imbalanced humans from having or procuring lethalweapons.

I pray for those innocent victims of a failed system to keep the insane from being part of normal society.

God show us the way to prevent further violence at home and in the World.

Not surprising, the site does not permit the number of words that would allow me free expression.

Went to CNN instead to complain about Nancy Grace who repeatedly emotionally charges the issues not unlike the loud mouth at the front of the mob that would storm the jailhouse in a lynching frenzy.  She doesn’t know the meaning of calm and deliberate, and her voice sharply devisive even in those issues that most calls for pulling together.  She is no better than Don Ismus, and possibly even worse, even while having a cleaned up vocabulary.

As for the vigil at Virginia Tech, all the good words don’t mean squat if they are simultaneously raising uncalled for contention that they themselves would have done no different in the context of the actual events as they unfolded, and a fair bet that even now there are some being left with no one to hold them close, a shoulder to lean on, nor a friend to share a tear.  It is to that some that my heart goes out to, and would to them be that friend.  God bless and keep you whoever you are.

Yesterday I was in a low mood all day, and wrote only this verse below when I read Prof. Librescu’s tragic death, and I wish him and all other victims rest in peace.

Three score and more years ago you escaped the Massacre;
Today is the memorial day, today you have to escape again.
BANG from the next room, reminiscent, kids screaming and running,

You rush toward the door, you think of those days and doors,
Kids are frightened, they are the same kids, and you are;
You hold fast the door, so ‘my kids’ can run and escape, they’re yours.
All this was in a moment’s notice; today is the remembrance day, you are

I’m Christina, and im only 14, but what happend on April 16 was one of the most horrifying things ive ever seen. These were jsut kids like us with hopes and dreams to make something out of themselves, although most of them had by being outstanding students (from what ive heard). This makes me very upset, which is why im going to hold a fundraiser in my town, and hope to make a good amount of money to donate to the victims and their families. I hope they can recover okay, and i would be more than happy to keep the families in my prayers and thoughts.

To the Victims’ families and to ALl HOKIES,

I am a student at the University of Maryland and when I first found out about the horrible tragedy that took place on your campus, my heart and my eyes shed the same tears that your hearts and eyes have shed.  I think that no matter where we are at this point, we are one in your pain. We are united in your pain and sorrow.  We are ALL Hokies.

It saddens my heart to see the faces of the victims.  They were kids, not too much younger than myself.  These were bright students, with a road of success ahead of them.  God needed beautiful, bright and caring Angels by his side.  God could not have chosen better Angels to be by His side.

My deepest condolences to all those affected by this tragedy.  May God keep you in His grace and may He give you the time and the strength to heal and perhaps one day even forgive the man who caused so much pain.

Please comfort each other in your sorrow and know that you are not alone.  Like Professor Giovanni said, “We WILL prevail. We WILL prevail.  We WILL Prevail.  We ARE Virginia Tech!” On Monday, we all became Hokies and we all were united in sorrow, grief, and pain.  “Let’s Go Hokies!”

She is Gone
By Anonymous

You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she’s gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
or you can do what she’d want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
