sorry I don’t speak English.

To the students, faculty and families of VT:

Like evryone else I was shocked and horrified by the tragedy that took place Monday. My thoughts and prayers go out to each of you directly affected by this. There are no words to heal or console you. You must be strong!! This is my personal hug to you all! God Bless You.
This could happen to any of us on any given day! You never know when there is a psycho standing next to you, until its too late! There is nothing the police or the school really did wrong, they cannot predict what may happen. There is nothing we can do to prevent this from happening again, NOTHING!
So, just make sure the ones you love know it!!

I have been watching the coverage of the attacks!  I hate that so many young people lost theirs lives and have to experience such grief so early!  You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Pres. Bush said it best when he stated “...people who don’t know you are praying for you.” I have never been to VT and frankly, did not know where it was until Monday.  This was not the best way to learn about the university and its community.  As I watched the news coverage, I thought back to my collegate days and wondered how I would handle this situation on my campus.

While small and rather insignificant, know that one person in Atlanta, GA is thinking about the students, faculty, staff, and citizens of the VT community and is hoping VT will arise stronger.

Dear people of Virginia Tech,

As you look up from the ashes of this disaster, please know that millions of others, all over the world, share your pain and sorrow.

As you grieve, we grieve with you.  As you hurt, we hurt with you. As you heal, we heal with you.  And as you remember, we will always remember with you.

Peace and love be with you all.

Canada has you all from Virginia Tech in their thoughts and prayers.  I pray for the victims and their families.  To those of you who acted heroically, lost friends and teachers, comfort those who have endured such tragedy, I pray that you will move forward with the good memories of the people lost close to your hearts and move the tragedy in the back of your minds.  Not an easy task I know, but I wish you all the happiness you deserve and hope that happiness comes back to you all soon.

The lost will always be remembered.  Hokies stay strong.
