My heartfelt condolences to the all the victims of the senseless act of violence this week on your campus.

An online Karaoke website (, with members from all around the world, got together yesterday in support and dedicated numerous songs in a sign of togetherness.  Eric Clapton’s “Tears In Heaven” was the most recorded song.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.  May God be with you and bring you comfort at this time of loss.

If we kept on crying for the rest of our lives, it won’t be enough for those innocent lives that we lost. But we have to think wisley so that we can stop this.
God be with those parents and friends. I hope God sends them comfort ASAP.

I just don’t get it and I don’t think I ever will. Bright young people are our future. It is hard to find young, motivated people who can change the world and then they are taken from us by troubled, selfish, evil individuals. And then you have to wait for someone to go off the deep end before you can do something?? I encourage all of our educators who identify these problems, not to stop bringing it to the attention of the administrators. Please listen and respond accordingly. My prayers go out to the students, teachers and families. For this is a great loss. God bless you all.

Set Aside Your Problems to Pray for Someone Else

Words can’t express the
pain that aches my heart
I heard breaking news
as my day was about to start

Today I set aside my
problems to pray for someone else.

33 lives taken
at the hand of one man
his situation or mindset
we may never understand

But this anger, frustration
and weeping that we may express
God says bring it to Him
and with these emotions confess....

Confess your hurt and confusion
of this tragedy that we all face
because 33 loved ones
can never be replaced

Because of this Va Tech Massacre
we have been placed at unease
mourn for their families and friends
and pray that they may find peace

As a Nation let us come together
and call on the ONE we know best
because in the days to come
we will continue to mourn for those that are laid to rest

So set aside your problems
and pray for someone else in need
because lives have been taken
and yet we’re still here to breathe.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, and those affected by this tragedy. GOD Bless!!!

Parents lost sons and daughters.  Wives lost husbands.  Children lost parents and friends lost companions. The world has lost the gifts of these aspiring young minds and talents of educators who dedicated their lives to inspiring our children.  Thoughts, prayers and sympathy to each of the families and many friends.  Hope for all of us that the life is a bit kinder.

I want to write my mind but it stops when I think this tragedy. I want to write my heart, but it bleeds when I think this tragedy. I don’t know what to say, but I know a quotation of “Mevlana”:

“When we are dead, seek not our tomb in the earth, but find it in the hearts of men.”

I’m so sorry what happend on April 16. I deeply share the grief that VT community experiences. God bless the victims, their parents and VT community.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
Hebrews 13:5

God Bless and keep the Lord in your hearts for He is always there.

Please know that our thoughts, prayers and heart go out to all of you as you go through this difficult time. I know how deeply a student can love and cherish their university, its students and its faculty. You are experiencing something that no one should have to face but know that you are not alone and you have friends in North Carolina cheering for you. Stay strong and never lose the hope and promise that you had the first day you walked upon the campus of Virginia Tech.

Dear Virginia Tech,

My condolences and sympathies go out to all those who were affected by this unthinkable tragedy-especially those who lost loved ones. You are carrying on with an amazing spirit to rebuild and the entire world is getting a chance to see what Hokie pride is all about. It is never easy to comprehend or understand death, but especially when people are taken by such an act of senseless violence. But I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that while someone may have mercilessly stolen their lives no one can ever steal your memories of these precious souls lost, for memories live forever and no one will soon forget the dearly departed. May the innocent rest in peace and may the shattered lives of all those affected begin to rebuild with strength and courage.

I suppose this is more of a way for the world to share it’s grief with all of you, because there are no words we can say here to comfort you. My heart aches for all the beautiful, promising lives lost, and my heart aches for all of you that have lost loved ones in this horrific tragedy.  I lift you up to a loving God who is there to wrap you in His arms, and I pray that your hearts and souls will heal as time passes. God’s blessings, comfort, strength and safety be with you all, and with all of us whose hearts cry alongside you.

Birthdays are supposed to be happy days, but my day was shattered when all this took place on Monday.  Even though I knew no one at Virginia Tech University, I am so incredibly saddened for the families and friends of the students and faculty that were horribly slain.  I still can’t believe something like this could happen, and that guns are sold to just about anyone.  It amazes me how something so incredibly senseless like this happens in the United States, just because it’s legal to buy/sell guns…

To the families and friends of the victims:

I wish I could soften the sadness you feel,
I wish I could give you a smile.
I wish I could keep you from hurting so much,
And show you that life’s still worthwhile.
I want you to know that I think about you,
And I’m someone whom you can depend.
I want you to know that I care about you,
And always know that I am a friend.

To all Virginia Tech students, faculty, parents and all that are mourning the recent tragedy,
I feel so horrible for the pain that is being brought to everyone and all I can do is pray for your community and your families everyday. Senseless acts have occurred and all we can do as a nation is pull together and lend a shoulder for us to cry on in a time of need. As a college student of Wright and Daley Colleges in Chicago, just know that the whole nation is praying for you and your falling tears. We WILL get past this and we must all be thankful for what we have and cherish life to it’s fullest everyday; because anyday can be our last. Stay strong! God is with you all. Love forever, LF
