Thoughts from your friends at Security Industry Association, Alexandria, Virginia

Each individual loss in this tragedy is a loss for us as a nation.  Their knowledge, potential and lives may have influenced countless others and will be missed.

You’re in our thoughts and in our hearts.

Rage against the lack of gun control laws in this country.  Hope for peace and tranquility for all the families affected by this brutal and senseless tragedy.

My deepest sympathy goes to all the families, friends and students at all universities across the country.  This was an unnecessary act of hate.

May God¡¦s love and strength that surpasses all understanding comfort and guide you and bring you peace.

To the VTU Community:  As the parent of three small children, my prayers go to you and your friends and family.  I admire the courage you have all displayed over the past several days and will continue to do so in the future.

Hold on.

My deepest thoughts and condolences go out to the families and loved ones of all who were affected by this tragedy.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the tragedy that occurred at Virginia Tech.  I hope your community finds strength and peace as you recovery begins.

As many others have already said my thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone who had to go through this senseless tragedy. In all that I have seen over the past few days it is ovious how supportive you all are to one another. Take them time to just be there for one another and in time your good memories will be hopefully able to over shadow the ones you have had to relive these past days. God Bless each and everyone of you.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt sympathies especially to the family members of the deceased young men and women. I also extend my sympathies to the Hokie community. Many of you probably didnt know the victims personally, but were apart of another great university family in our country.  Keep the family members in your prayers. Their lives will never change. Life will get better.  From a West Virginia University Mountaineer I say “ GO HOKIES”!

Dear Faculty, Students, and Staff at Virginia Tech:
While I flounder with finding the words to express my condolences, I promise that, as a teacher of adolescents, I will become more in-tune with my students, attempt to connect further with them, and offer open discussion of this tragedy with them, including an expansion of my current instruction of prejudice and discrimination.  Is there a more precise or valuable offering?  Perhaps clouded by grief, I can’t think of more suitable action.

Our hearts go out to you and we hope you feel our prayers.  Remember, one individual is responsible for this.  We are all individuals.  WE have the ability to draw strength and love from each other that as a group surpasses any hatred from one individual.  Yet again, EACH of has the ability to change the lives of another person.  Let’s hope this horrible tragedy that has changed EACH of our lives, directly or indirectly, empowers us.  Empowers us to create a chain of strength, a chain of love and a chain of great accomplishments.  Isn’t that what EACH loved one that passed would want?

I have no way of expressing my anger and sorrow at knowing such a tragic thing could occur. I am most hurt at thinking how many lives were taken away.
Each and every single soul lost in this massacre was special in its own way. Each person brought a little magic to this world and made it a better place, with only their presence.
I wish to give my sincere condolences to the family of the victims and their friends.
There were dreams stolen on that horrible day. And I am sorry those dreams could naver come true.
But somewhere in my heart I know, God is taking care of these beautiful souls. They are in peace.
