To families of those who lost their innocent lives and also to university students, teachers, etc..I can not believe, we have created such an unsafe world for our kids, as a mother of 4, I feel it is so unsafe out there for all of them.
We can only pray to make sure those souls are in peace and in a better place.

Our prayers are with you

God bless you all

Love never dies
Dedicated To Virginia Tech

Bad things sometime happen to good people,
I can’t tell you why,

I watch the flame still burning,
for love doesn’t die,

Sometime life is stolen,
where ever the grim reaper may strike.

But He doesn’t get those souls,
that go to God’s light,

It’s hard to forgive,
and it’s hard to forget,

For those who still live,
they light a flame in the night,

I watch the tears fall from too many eyes,

I know God hears,
the whispers of every prayer,

Wherever heaven is,
I know love is there,

For we are precious in His sight,
and love never dies.
Love never dies.

Taken away the young and old alike,
Some died a hero,
and gave their life as a sacrifice,
For others to live,
love paid the price,

I watched as death came,
in the twinkle of a eye,
Than I saw love’s flame,
and I watched it rise,
As thousands of candles,
lit up the night,

For those who still live,
they light a flame in the night,

I watch the tears fall from too many eyes,

I know God hears,
the whispers of every prayer,

Wherever heaven is,
I know love is there,

For we are precious in His sight,
and love never dies.
Love never dies.

From the victims and their families, to the students trying to get on with their lives, to the courageous professors trying to see if there was more they could have done, to the parents of the killer who suffer now in so many ways.  To all of us hoping this doesn’t happen again, anywhere.

I join with you in heartache.  I pray that each day we can live it to the fullest in peace and with love toward one another.  My sincerest condolences to the many broken lives involved.

I graduated from this great University in 2002, after four amazing years.  I can’t believe I’m watching all the horror happen on the campus where I spent so much time, the campus I loved.

On behalf of all Hokies out here in California, know that while we may be far away, our hearts, minds and souls are with the victims and their families.  Be strong and God bless.

My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims.  How painful to lose your child/friend because of a “looney”! I can’t imagine the pain they are feeling!!

What can we do to prevent such a thing from happening again and again?  Will the authorities get more involved and put together more stringent laws for people suspected of a mental problem?  Will they put these “suspected looneys” under supervision to be watched and to evaluate if such an event (such as what happened at Virginia Tech) could happen again by the individual that is being examined?!

There should also be a law against youths being able to buy guns so easily!!!  History is dictating that guns should not be so readily available to anyone!

This will happen again and again until the powers at be sits down and works up a law that will help to keep these “loonies” locked up or get the help they really need in order to save many more lives!!!

Condolenses from the President and whomever means nothing to the families and friends that are hurting from their senseless loss!  The President must do everything possible to correct the laws that protect these hideous human beings!!!!!!

This is what happens in a society that forgets about others and is so centered in making the most for itself. My prayers and thoughts are with the family victims. I hope in the future we can spend more time with others than with ourselves in the middle of this urban jungle with stuff that is not really the best for our human life. RIP

I was a freshman at Tech 50 years ago and graduated in 1960. My friends in the Corps of Cadets [K company] are still my dearest friends today. We all love Tech just like all of you who are students today. The terrible events of 4/16 are hard to bear, especially for those who were on campus. The television interviews with Tech students were inspiring because they were articulate and caring. I have no doubt that Virginia Tech is now admired all over our great country because people were able to witness that it is truly a great school with wonderful students.
We love you and are praying for the victims and their families.

To all VT Hokies,
My prayers have been constant since learning of this horrific tragedy. I pray for those who died, their families and the VT family. I can’t even begin to imagine how parents, siblings and friends of those who were gunned down are feeling. Tears well up in my eyes at the thought of this tragedy. I don’t know if we can ever understand the mind of the student who for whatever reason, took the precious live of 32 people.
May God grant you the strength, comfort and everlasting peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all involved during this difficult time. Please remember the police departments who are working this tragedy and trying to figure everything out even with all the negative comments. Please also remember the administration at VT while they may/may not have made the right decision they will wonder everyday rather it was/was not the right decision to tell the campus, lets not make it worse. This is a horrific tragedy and it could have happened anywhere. Let’s all stick together. Pray for the families who are strugling with the loss of the lives of their loved ones. I am 25 year old native of Blacksburg and although I feel terrified and scared of what could happen next there is no-where I would rather raise my family.

Baby, It’s alright
Stop your cryin’ now

Nothing is here to stay
Everything has to begin and end
A ship in a bottle won’t sail
All we can do is dream that the
wind will blow us across the water
A ship in a bottle set sail

Baby, It’s alright
Stop your cryin’ now

Some might tell you there’s no hope in hand
just because they feel hopeless
but you don’t have to be a thing like that
You’ll be a ship in a bottle set sail

Baby’ It’s alright stop your cryin’ now
It’s alright so stop your cryin’ now

To Virginia Tech, whom is considered my family for the past 5.5 yrs:

I’m in deep sorrow and am mourning for the loss of our professors and students.  It is beyond words to describe how I feel about this tragedy.  I’ve graduated from VT in Dec. 2005 and have moved on to grad school in TN.  But no matter where I am, VT has always been my home, been the place I grew up in.  There’s really not much else to say other than that we will unite as one Hokie nation and we will surmise this tragedy.  My heart is with each and everyone of the students, faculties at VT and to friends and families of the victims.  It doesn’t matter that I don’t know any of the victims, it hurts just as much as if I knew them.

Love and prayers always… Karina Cheung
