My Condolences goes out to all the victims, students of VT, families and friends. This is one of the worst calamities at an education institution. I still cannot believe this had happened at a university. It seems as though this only happens in a horror film, yet it is reality. I hope this will be the last of shootings at schools because I cannot imagine how it feels like being in school and always having the thought in the back of your head for safety. We are all with you. STAY STRONG. GO HOKIES!

My heart goes out to you, VA Tech.  I can only imagine what you went through that day, what you’re currently feeling/thinking/re-living and how it will affect you in the days to come. However, you must know that you are not alone.

For the lives taken, may you all rest in peace.

To the families and friends of those lost loved ones...there are no words to make the pain go away but I can only hope that you are able to find consolation in the memories shared with those whose lives were taken and may you be able to find the strength to get you through this by depending on all those who share your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Sadness yet again bestows our nation. This time a college campus. Again innocent lives lost for nothing more than what they were suppose to be doing-getting an education.

To all the students, faculty and other members of the Virginia Tech community my prayers are with you. I have always been on University campuses either as a student or staff member and I know the vibrancy that goes on. With the spirit of community, love and affection your spirit will heal and move on. Don’t let anger encompass you but love and togetherness continue to fill your heart. May god be with you all, to heal the wounds....

Hugs and Hope!!

To all the students, faculty, and staff at Virginia Tech,
I wish to share my prayers and condolences to all affected by this horrible tragedy.  I am a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut, a university similar to that of VT.  As a college student, I would have never imagined that such events could happen in an environment that myself, and I’m sure many of my classmates, viewed as being somewhat of a shelter.  I am encouraged by the appearance of a strength in community that is being shown by all the students and staff at VT.  I hope that you can all draw stregth from each other.  Know that universities around the country, and even around the world, are thinking of you constantly and sending our prayers to you.  We are saddened, yet inspired by your resilience and courage.  I pray for your families and friends as you all proceed through the grieving process.

i know that it is hardly a substitute, but please know that you are in the thoughts, on the minds, and in the hearts of the entire country. we pray for the victims, their families and friends, and the VT students and staff during this most difficult time.
god be with you.

Dear all members of the Virginia Tech family,

I am a college student from Quinnipiac University, and I just want to let everyone know that my thoughts and prayers are with every single one of you.  I can not begin to express how saddened I am by this event.  God bless you all, and stay strong!

April 18, 2007, 5:09pm • #18874

To All Those Grieving from this horrible event, I pray for stength and courage in this time of mourning for you all.  I pray that in the aftermath of this event Virginia Tech, Virginia, and this country can stand united in putting peace and love into the atmosphere that was tainted by hatred and anger on Monday morning.  With many friends at Virginia Tech I was blessed in not losing anyone, however, I have held many in my arms who have, and listened to the trembling thoughts of many others.  It breaks my heart that something like this could occur, but the healing starts now with people accross the country united in prayer.

All of us at Christopher Newport University have you in our prayers.

Stay strong Hokies.

All of us in Massachusetts are praying for you. You are in our thoughts, and we stand with you, grieving and moving forward.
Remember that the God of all creation came to feel your burdens; that in this world it was necessary for Him to die, that we may have eternal life.
He is with all of you. And by his strength, “by His wounds, you are Healed.”

God Bless everyone at Virginia Tech. May the love and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

Dear students, faculty, and Virginia Tech Community,
I just wanted to let you know that our hearts and prayers are with you at this time. Although the whole country is mourning with you, we know that even that of a whole nation can never even begin to compare to the trauma and saddness that filled that day for all of you. We pray that you will be able to get back on your feet-after all, you are the mighty, mighty Hokies. Our world was forever changed in losing these fine souls whose lives we have gotten merely a glimpse of through the news. I find myself wishing that I myself had known these wonderful people. Our prayers and hope of a bright future are with you. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone, for an entire world stands united beside you in grief, but more importantly, in prayer.

Dearest Virginia Tech,
Much like the 911 tragedy I have not been able to get you off my mind. It hurts to watch the events being played out time and time again on the television.  Each time ---I prayed for a different ending but reality hits home with the same loss.
I can not imagine what all of you are going through---please know that so many of us are standing with you and that you are not alone.  May God watch over and Bless you now and in the days to come.

Fear of death
Fear of life
Fear of truth
Fear can bite
Fear devours
Trust at sight
Fear turns logic
Into spite
Fear even doth
Turn light to night
When it upon
Your shoulder lights
Fear twists
Fear kills
Fear is the cause
Of most world ills
Love chase fear away
When fear gone
All just peace
