Respect and Remember

The Student Government Association would like to remind students of the somberness of the Day of Remembrance. Classes have been canceled in order to allow time for students to remember those lost in their own way, while respecting and taking into consideration the feelings of their fellow Hokies.

Free admission all day.

2 p.m. to 4 p.m. | Remembrance Through Chess
Brush Mountain Room B – Squires Student Center
Come for a quiet time to reflect and remember through the playing of chess.

3 p.m. | Virginia Tech Softball vs. Liberty
Tech Softball Park
Having been one of the first teams to return to action last spring, members of the Virginia Tech softball team wanted to play in memory of those who lost their lives and those who were injured and traumatized by the events of April 16, 2007.
