My thoughts and prayers are with all the families of the victims and all the students that attend VT

I don’t think there’s much that I or anyone can say to alleviate much pain.  But I ask that you keep this in mind: You will get through this.  Keep moving forward, and you will get through this.  As your wise professor said, “...prevail.” God Bless.

Eastwood Elementary Magnet School in Baltimore, Maryland wishes to express their condolences to the families, faculty and staff of Virginia Tech.  Today we honored the victims by wearing maroon and orange.  Our Principal provided ribbons for the faculty and staff.  We made a banner which all of our students are signing and then we will be sending to VT.  We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

No person is ever truly alone.
Those who live no more,
Whom we loved,
Echo still within our thoughts,
Our words, our hearts.
And what they did
And who they were
Becomes a part of all that we are,
Forever.

With Deepest Sympathy

My boyfriend is big Hokies fan. He always says that I am a Hokie fan because he is. Well, he might be right about that, but I still feel so sick for all the Hokies. You have lost more than just fellow Hokies-you have lost family.  I have seen the Hokie Pride first hand.  My boyfriend took me to a football game this past football season.  It is just amazing how the Hokies take such pride in everything that is Virginia Tech.  I hope that this tragedy does not mame that spirit.  And from what I have seen on television it has not. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Joi K.

As a fellow Hokie, my heart is broken for the lives that have been lost, the bodies that have been wounded, and the lives that have been thrown into turmoil.  I also know, as a fellow Hokie, that our alma mater will recover from this tragedy, and, God willing, become stronger as a result.  My prayers are with everyone that has been affected by this tragedy.  I pray these prayers not only to invoke God’s favor, but also as a duty to my Hokie brothers and sisters.  Ut Prosim—It is truly my pleasure to serve.

I feel the impact of sadness and sorrow that the Virginia Tech community is feeling.

My heart goes out to and shall remember the 32 students and faculty whom have preceded us in spirit.
My heart goes out to all the students, staff, faculty of VT and townspeople of Blacksburg,Virginia and all touched by this darkness. Out of the darkness, light shall come, so please don’t let the more common and easy mistake of more hate and more darkness come from this tragedy, as we’ve done in our recent national history.

Our world is so filled with daily tragedy. We react in Unity only when said tragedies strike us. Good goes beyond tragedy, beyond hate, beyond devastation. Events of Hope, Peace, and unrelenting Good can Unify us, as this has. If Seung-Hui brought anything to us, it was the test of our Spirit of Unity, Our Love of Humanity as a whole, Our Hope,Our Understanding, Our Trust that violence will one day be forever put to rest as a way to handle disagreements.

Look into your hearts and feel the meaning behind it all. See what the Grand Message the Great Spirit brings to All of Us:

WE ARE ALL ONE!

My most sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to each and everyone who has been affected by this tragedy. For those who have lost a loved one I pray that God comforts you. I have 3 children the same ages as most of these kids, I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through, I know I would be devistated.

I thank those who put this page up so that we can say something to those who are hurting, emotionally and physically. It helps those of us who care who live far away, in some way to heal. Although we might not know anyone personally who was killed or injured, it helps us to be able to share our sympathy.

Father God; I ask that you comfort everyone who has lost someone in this tragedy. I pray for quick healing of those injured. You are the Mighty Comforter and the Mighty Healer. Heal the emotional pain of the peaople as well, Father God. WE thank You in advanced for the healing and the confort. I ask that as the students return to classes on Monday that all fear is wiped away and they feel safe. In Jesus name AMEN.

I can not image what the families and friends of those lost in this dreadful tradegy is going through.  Please know that your loved ones are now with GOD.  Keep in mind that their spirit will always be apart of you.  Please keep their smiles and love alive by placing some of their special things on an altar to be admired in your homes by all who visit.  Think of the loving times you shared with your loved ones. Having a daugher myself, I could not image her not being
apart of my life.  Bless each and everyone of you.  I will pray for you and your love ones.

Warmest regards,
Jacqueline and Logan

I have no words for this terrible event and I pray that the family of these victims will find a way to carry on even as the other people on the school. When jalousy and materiality are the feeding for this action you must be very sick and not suitable for this world.
Respect and love and care are in my eyes so important because without these components the world is a place for crazy people.
One promise from Jesus Christ is that everybody cant escape his punishment for the things he did .
I hope live and security will come back very soon for everybody in America especially in Virginia Tech.

Words cannot describe how deeply saddened I am for the families who lost their loved ones.  Anyone who has been to Tech can see what a great place it is and how wonderful the people are.  “We are Virginia Tech!” and the next time someone asks me what a Hokie is, my answer will be, “I AM!”

This past week has seemed endless.  There are no words to convey the sadness in our hearts as the Staff of Virginia Tech.  We are praying for the families and the friends of the fallen VT students and faculty.  Although we will never forget, we will eventually move on. Because we are the HOKIES!

I am devastated by the tragedies.  I feel for all of you at Virginia Tech.  My prayers are with you daily--my hope is for you to become a stronger community from this tragedy--don;t let it take away your closeness, your sense of family.  cherish that always.  Time shall heal your wounds, but in the meantime, remember to honor those who lost their lives in this horrific way by making the most of your time left on earth.  Be kind, be friendly, be helpful--remember our time on earth is short--make the most of each day.  Tell your family and friends you love them everyday!  Make a difference with the knowledge you have and remember to treat others the way you want to be treated!

Im sorry about what happened and I really feel your pain
I have to say “What did the killer have to gain”
Some may think he was insane
But I think he did it in vain
So don’t let what happened get you down
So turn them sad faces back around
And if you think don’t no one care
But we feel the pain like we were their.

Lord you said that once I decided to follow you, we would walk sided by side through life, but when I needed you most I only saw one set of footprints in the sand.  The lord replied “ I love you and would never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints, it was those times I was carrying you”.
May you all remember the lord is with you and will get you through these trying times! Brenda

The Broken Chain…
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
The family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

I am a Senior at Penn State University main campus, and I want you (Virginia Tech) to know that we are all praying for you here and that you are in all of our hearts. I can’t even imagine how hard this must be for all of the people affected by this tragic event, but we all have to stick together in times like these. I wish that all of you could see the impact that you have had on our hearts; and that we have the deepest sympathies for you; and that we love you very much. My heart was touched today as the streets of Penn State were filled with Orange and Maroon… 44,000 of my friends and I got your back VT. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13.Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14.We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15.According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16.For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18.Therefore encourage each other with these words.

My prayer for the V Tech family and our nation, is that we come together, to support one another and pray for one another daily. That today is a new beginning for all of you and for our nation. God Bless You All!

Love a Mommy!

My Heart goes out to all of you in this horrible tragedy.  Sept 26 1988 a gunman walked into Oakland Elementary School in Greenwood SC and killed two 8 year old girls injuring many other staff and children.  I work at this school and my 2 children were attending school here at the time.  My daughter was in one of the classrooms that the gunman walked into.  If not for the actions of her teacher and her quick actions; getting all the students away from the door and out the window when she heard the shots, in the classroom across the hall, my daughter may have also been a victim.  Everyone will heal, but no one will forget.  It still seems like yesterday to all of us that were involved.  Talking through it with others that were involved and prayers will get you through the days that lie ahead for all of you.  It won’t be easy and it won’t be quick but your hearts will heal and they will always remember!  My prayers are with all of you.
