To All those who rest in peace...God bless ur soul and ur family.

After They Are Gone

When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.

Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.

Let’s draw together to recuperate,
As we go throught this period of sorrow;
Let’s help each other, with tender care
To find a brighter tomorrow.

We Live in a world of Chaos, and turmoil, but we also live in a world of love, and triumph.I can not comprehend what you have gone through,the pain, the suffering, the tragic lose.We live in a world were today we can press on, move forward and create a better future for those yet to come.We live in a world where we can honor those who have passed before us,and gave their lives for us.Those that passed away should never be forgotten.Their lives should become beacons to your lives,their strength ours.We should honor them,not by mourning their lose,but by living life for them.Let us not waste one more minute of live,on the things in this world that are wrong,but on things that will bring hope.Let their lives be honored in every action,and every breath of your being,let them be honored.They died in the name of hate,but let us not return hate with more hate but with love.Let us rebuild from the events that have taken place,and let us move on.On this day you should fight for not revenge,for what is right and true.You should fight to live as they would have lived.Do not be consumed by these events,but live as they would have you live,live anew.On this day raise your glasses,raise your voice,raise your heart,HONOR THEM.

I woke up tuesday morning (Aust. time) to hear of this tragedy, and I just couldn’t believe it. My family background is proudly American and it hits the heart, even at the other end of the world to hear of such a thing.

I can not imagine what the families of the victims, even of the perpetrator, and all of the students, the faculty and their families are going through. I cannot imagine if such a thing were to happen here.

I must say that my heart goes out to everyone that has been effected by this tragedy, and I hope that everyone can be strong.

To All Hokies,

I was a graduate Student in VT but now I am back in my home country. I am truly shocked and very sad about what happened, this has been news all around the world. VT is a beautifull school with a great community of students and faculty and I am very sorry for all the loss. But why not also use this tragedy, why not act to change the gun laws/policies in the US? there is no other counrty in the world where you can walk into a shop around the corner, present your ID and walk out with a gun.These tragedies are just too horrifying to do nothing.

Love and sorrow are often entertwined but not so deeply as love lost tragicly. My heart is heavy for all of you at Virginia Tech and the families and friends of those we lost on April 16, 2007.
But we are also grateful for all of you who were spared. I pray you go on to live even fuller more compelling lives than you may have before.

Take time to rest and refect on these events but then embrace your life again with refined purpose and clarity for what really matters most. It is not your destination, or the roads you take to get there, but the meaningful relationships and memories you cultivate along the way, and the legacy of caring that you leave behind.

You have a unique opportunity to help the world get to know personally those we have lost, in ways we probably never would have known them. So thank you for sharing their lives and helping to extend their legacies beyond the lives touched. We can already tell from your stories that these honored 32 students and faculty had lived richer lives than many people who live to be 100+.

We grave tremendously for the loss for such young lives. But again we should mourn the stupid Gun law lobbies for adding fuel to any fire raging in some of those souls. No such country except America where you find such relaxed gun laws, purely for money gains with no regards for consequences or the end result. These dramas unfortunately will continue for ever as long as guns are easily available.3
Might God bring peace to the souls of all who died.

The V-tech students interviewed after the tragedy were thoughtful, kind and mature in their responses.  As they are a sampling of the sort of people who attend V-tech, we are acutely aware that America has lost some of it’s most promising.  We pray for the families of all those innocents who have died.  We hope they can find some peace and comfort in knowing that America grieves with them.

I’m deeply saddened by the event that has taken place at Virginia Tech. My condolences to the victims family members, and friends. I wish you nothing but the best durning this awful time. I can’t understand why anyone would want to take away so many lives. It’s just awful. I want to say however, that there’s a reason for everything, and we have to believe that they’re in a better place. Eventhough their lives were cut short, I think it’s very important to remember that each of the victims lived their lives to the fullest, and that they were loved and appreciated by all who knew them. I hope this message proves to be comforting.  To the surviving members, please stay strong. I know it’s difficult, but you have to pick up the pieces amd move on. It will get better with time.  Just know that they’ll always be with you, and that you’ll see them again someday on the otherside.
God Bless You All

For the families and friends of the victims, I sincerely offer my condolences and prayers. I was deeply saddened on what have happened and my prayers is what I can only offer.
To VT students, faculty and staff, I just wanted you all to know that we admire the courage and unity you’ve shown us.
I pray that God will give each one of you the strength to fight and move on for your friends and families.  I couldn’t imagine how hard it will be when each student comes back to their classes.  For sure it will be hard, I really don’t know how it can be handled but one thing I know is that Hokies can overcome this.
Just keep the faith strong and show them who the Hokies are!

My Thoughts and Prayers join the millions of others who have been touched by this event. I hope and pray for the day when we can live in a world where mindless death is a distant memory and we live in peace with everyone. As John Lennon once sang,

but I’m not the only one,
I hope some day you’ll join us,
And the world will be as one.”
