Dear VT family,
I do not know any of you nor do I go to your school.  But I must say that as a mother of a 5 year old I have been awakened by this sensless tragedy.  As a parent, I cannot imagine to feel the loss these parents must feel at this moment.  My deepest sympathy, love, thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you.

Regards,
Kim Taylor

My prayers and thoughts are with each family who lost someone.  I know that each family will have a rough road ahead, but having God in their lives will make it better.  Prayer is very important.  All the students and professors who were killed will be remembered and honored at this campus among every student and faculty.  Again, my prayers are with each and everyone.

I pray for the families of their great loss.  I couldn’t imagaine what they are feeling right now.  It affects everyone around the world when we hear about things like this.  This was horrible and I pray that everyone will have peace and comfort in the days to come.  It will be hard, but you can do it.  Remember them as the great people they were.  And most of all we need to keep Jesus in our hearts and minds always. Go Hokies!!!

my heart is broken for all at virginia tech, especially the families of the beautiful children taken away from them, ,being a mom i think we all want our children to be good people an asset to the world community, if we see our children isolating and not behaving right, we should love them enough to get them help, i think that should be one of the messages to help prevent this sort of tragedy again ,my prayers are with the families for comfort, we feel your pain, carolyn from connecticut

My thoughts and prayers are with those who have been personally affected by this horrific tragedy.  No one can understand why these things happen in the moments after they occur, but it usually becomes apparent after grief turns to pained acceptance of the horrible loss that we realize each soul taken too soon has served an important prupose in their short lives that has touched so many who they have never even met in life.  In my opinion, each of these brave and loved people serve a greater purpose in Heaven and it is clear that they serve to spread the words of peace, love, and self sacrifice to those of us left behind.  May the families and friends of those who are gone, and those who are touched forever by the violence that morning be forever in our hearts and prayers.  May healing come easily to the Virginia tech community.  Hokie pride lives forever in each of now.

Our thoughts and prayers to those that have lost loved one’s, friends, classmates, and teachers in the recent tradegedy.

On Thanksgiving Day 2005 we too lost our son, we share your pain. He moved on to a better place.

However we, his family & friends, are keeping his memory alive with a Virtual Memorial Website at http://www.memory-of.com where we can light candles, leave messages for him, and simply feel close to him each and everyday.

There is no way we can bring back our loved one’s but there is a place online where we can feel as close to them as we were when we could Instant Message them or leave them an email.

In the Tributes and Condolences section you could have the chance to leave him or her your final thoughts or…

-If you only had 3 more minutes to share with him/her, what would you say?

- How, where and when did you meet them?

- What did you learn from them?

- What did you teach them?

- How did they make you laugh?

Perhaps this could be a way for you too to ease your pain. God Bless each of you,

Love,
Keith’s Mom

My most sincere expressions of sorrow and grief are with each and everyone of you that experienced such a horendous crime. Words will never be able to express the pain that the world feels with VT, but more important is the fact that the love and support that wishes to be shared is amazing to receive from all over. The hearts of everyone was so impacted by this tragedy. Only time, love and prayers will ease some of the pain and sorrow. Just please remember that God is there to comfort and ease our pain, he has never left that campus, he carried your precious angels to heaven’s gates, they were never alone. Just lean on God and let him show you how to go on. His arms are big enough to comfort us all.He will never forsake us. Love and prayers are with all of you. The Shults family

I want to send my regrets to all of those directly involved with the tragedy. Based on everything I have read, the people who were lost all had exceptional promise and talent. It’s difficult to comprehend, and I want to let the families know that many share in their grief and sorrow. I’m sorry for the families, and I want to let them know that I will be praying for them. -Ken
