As a staff member at The Ohio State University, and the mother of a sophomore here, I’ve watched the horror of the events surrounding the tragic events at VPI.  I cannot imagine the level of grief, dismay, disbelief, and vulnerability your campus and community must be feeling.  I have been so impressed with the courage shown, the support for one another, and the will to get past this event.  We will continue to lift you in our thoughts and prayers in the days, weeks, and months to come.  You are not alone.  God bless you all.  Terri Cory, Frankfort, Ohio

I am retired Army Sergeant First Class who would like to thank each and every first responders.  They took their lives into their own hands to save others not knowing what they were entering.

May god bless and help everyone to understand why this hell had to happen.  And it anyone ever sees this kind of nutcake ever again.  If you ever wonder if I should report it.  REPORT IT!.  It would be better to ask for forgiveness, than for this country to have to live this week again

We as people try to go through life making a difference.  No matter what direction we choose to go travel in, whether through religion, through work, through any path we choose to take; i believe we try to make this place a better one, i believe we try to bring joy to people’s lives, we try to be remembered in a way that can be learned from, we try to put a mark on this world for the better good; to continue our existence, i believe we try to set an example for others to follow, we help others before we help ourselves…

please remember the victims for everything that they stood for, for all the good they had in thier hearts and remember them for everyone they touched and loved.

come together as family and friends, wear your orange and maroon not only tomorrow but every day you want to stand for something that is good about this world we live in and the people who strive to make it a better place, for the good people that lived through this trajedy at virginia tech.

Thank you

"NEVER ALONE”

May the angels protect you
Trouble neglect you
And heaven accept you when its time to go home
May you always have plenty
The glass never empty
Know in your belly
You¹re never alone

May your tears come from laughing
You find friends worth having
As every year passes
They mean more than gold
May you win and stay humble
Smile more than grumble
And know when you stumble
You¹re never alone

Never alone
I¹ll be in every beat of your heart
When you face the unknown
Wherever you fly
This isn¹t goodbye
My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you¹re never alone

I have to be honest
As much as I wanted
I’m not gonna promise that cold winds won¹t blow
So when hard times have found you
And your fears surround you
Wrap my love around you
You¹re never alone

My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you¹re never alone

So when hard times have found you
And your fears surround you
Wrap my love around you
You¹re never alone

I found the lyrics to this song, I hope it helps those who have lost family, and friends in this tragedy.
