To the Hokie Nation:

My profound and deepest sympathies go to you for the devistating tragedy that took place on your campus Monday. I have been glued to the television, wanting to turn away, but knowing I could not.  Hearing stories from those who knew the victims, made me feel like I too got a small glimpse of them.  I pray each night for each and everyone.  I hope that the healing process will help you move forward.  I know that there will never be understanding.  To understand there has to be a reason and there was none. God Bless you!

The outpoor of unconditional love any and all affected by this tragety is seen and felt by all. My words cannot comfort and ease the extreme pain many are feeling, or can they explain the why of it all. Please I ask of all to get some help to be free of the anger, if one keeps such anger “bottled up” it destroys the sole and one then loses all concepts of life in the living form and wants to take actions as this. The whole world is behind you all with unconditional love. Some words will anger one and comfort another. I express my feelings and unconditional love for all by writing this. My daughter is a student of VT and lives on the 5TH. floor of Ambler Johnson,I never dreamed such a devestating event would effect me as it has, I can only imagine the feelings of others,"THIS TO SHALL PASS”. My prayers and thoughts are with you all especially the families that lost their love ones. Sometimes we ask the question why and how could this be? The Bible says that God knows it all and He has everying under control that He will not put no more on us then we can bare. This is a time to turn to God for those answers. It’s time to pray like never before and trust God for strength and hope. We have to pray for this young mans family that God will help them through all of this as well. God will see all of us through, because this has effected the whole world.
Be blessed,

That is not at all how
We thought it was supposed to be
We had so many plans for you
We had so many dreams
And now you’ve gone away
And left us with the memories of your smile
And nothing we can say
And nothing we can do
Can take away the pain
The pain of losing you

Chorus:
We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
‘Cause we know our goodbye is not the end
We can grieve with hope
Because we believe with hope
There’s a place where we’ll see your face again
We’ll see your face again

Never have I known
Anything so hard to understand
Never have I questioned more
The wisdom of God’s plan
But through the cloud of tears
I see the Father smile and say well done
And I imagine you
Where you wanted most to be
Seeing all your dreams come true
‘Cause now you’re home and now you’re free

Chorus

We have this hope like as an anchor
‘Cause we believe that everything God promised us is true

There’s a place
By God’s grace
There’s a place where we’ll see your face again
