if God would of written your names in the sand, it would have washed away.
and if God would of written your names in the sky, it would have blown away.
so God wrote your names in our hearts and that’s where it will always stay.
America’s new ocean has been created by the tears shed for these sweet people that were special in so many ways.
my tears are only drops in this newly created ocean. Please God in some way protect us all.

As I came to LC Community College this AM I saw our flags at half staff and was again reminded of the great loss suffered at VT. There lives ended all to soon and I wish we could know why. Our Lord is a truly loving God and he does not make mistakes. I hope in the deaths of those loved ones some great lesson is learned. I am praying for all of you and also the family of the young man.

Dumont is a small, quiet town in New Jersey and we lost one of our own in this shooting. I remember Matt La Porte as a young child in the town baseball program and when I saw his photograph, memories of this shy, quiet kid who wouldn’t hurt a fly, came flooding back. When I read the capsules of what Matt and the other victims had accomplished in their young lives and what their future plans were, I can only say their families should be extremely proud. I hope the families, friends and fellow college students can find some solace in knowing that these kids didn’t have to wait in line......they walked right through the pearly gates.

can’t even begin to imagine the pain and loss you all are feeling. For you to be able to get back up on your feet and try to go about your lives again makes you incredible people. I know this isn’t easy, but stay strong. I know you can make it through. I only wish there was something I could do to help. I’m praying for all of you, for the wellbeing of the injured, and for the strength to carry on to the families who’ve lost someone.
Love, hugs, best wishes.

To imagine what everyone involved is going through is impossible, to put yourself in the shoes of everyone involved is even harder.  Be strong, it will get easier.  Although it may not seem it right now, time is a great healer.

It is a very sad thing that happened here, but we must not fall into a corrupt path by trying to blame the staff and security force at Virginia Tech, they responded to the best of there ability. It was a sad day in history and an experience that will never be forgotten. May they Rest In Peace.
