Completly sad for all the families and the kids died too young, my heart weeps for them… but not surprised. How many words, how many speechs again before acting? Why a certain president prefers to see young americans killed instand realize that arms is a real problem in his country? That this is not a matter of security right now? Of course he’s crushed for the families… But he completly denies his responsibility. Why??
Racism and violence isn’t the answer. It have been already done. Americans have to look for further.

To all the ones who lost a child, a friend, a brother, a sister… Wish all the prayers give you strenght.

Everytime a tragedy immense as this occurs, it leaves a huge hole in my heart...With grief so heavy I can feel the weight of it.  What happens to people to push them over the edge of sanity and leads them to commit such senseless acts of violence against so many innocents?  This is what hurts me so much.  But watching your community on TV, and being able to see your strength and fortitude despite the adversity has been a testimony to me.  Although we are never really guaranteed another day, it is possible to praise God through life’s storms.  My prayers are with VT’s students, faculty, families, and the family of the deranged young man.  Grace and Peace be to all of you.

My eyes well up with tears, as I think of all the talent, all the joy, all the intelligence, all the pride, all the hope, and all the love that has now disappeared from their families and friends. I give them all my deep condolences, but I know full well my tears are just a drop in a never emptying bucket of sorrow and pain…

All the gifts that their talents could have bestowed...(or in the case of the teachers, could have kept on bestowing)....for the rest of the outside world! This is a tragedy beyond imagining!

Anger Management should be taught...from kindergarten to college!  One small starter book is “Elf Self-Help” on Anger.  Anger Management classes might be the best memorial we can give to these tragic victims!

Peace...Love...And Hope For A Better Tomorrow!

As much as I wish I could, I can’t summon the words to describe the sorrow I feel for your losses.  There truly are no words.  As a student, I am heartbroken, angry, and frightened by this tragedy.  We must remember not only the victims, but the shooter as well, so that we can stop tragedies like this in the future.  If anything good can come from this, let it be a lesson in caution-it is a small consolation, but if we can stop this from happening in the future, then maybe those who were lost did not die in vain.  Love, support, and prayers to the friends and families of those who were lost.

Breaks me…

Today..
As I hear ppl arnd me say…
Tht wat happened on tht fateful day..
Is bad no doubt… but dats just destiny’s way,..
Of taking all the ppl it has to… away…
Something inside me breaks… my heart… my soul…
I cannot with surety say…
Im filled wid a huge dismay…

I cannot work…
This thing keeps haunting…
As if something inside me is wanting…
To be set free.. to shout…
To tell every1 arnd me… to scream aloud..
That this was not wat destiny wanted…

But this is what we have turned the world into…
We give the kids a childhood of damnation…
Of shouts.. of humiliation…
Their li’l minds cannot fully comprehend…
Wats goin on they jst cannot understand..
And as the time passes…
As their li’l minds start growing..
All they want is revenge…
But how?? not really knowing….
They just want an answer…
they want to know why…
Why were they abused??
Why cudnt anyone hear them cry??

They were small an’ innocent…
Did not realize…
That all that they went thru…
Was not destiny in disguise,,,
It was the ppl…
Ppl who they trusted…
Ppl… who had their faith busted…

So now they feel..
The time has come… and their wounds will heal…
There was a time when they were the innocent…
And ppl stained their souls…

contd..

Now they have the power…
The time has come…
When the innocent will die…
when they will be squashed like a rotten plum..
their hatred… the frustration..
turns into a nitemare…

when once more…
the innocent.. r the ones bearing the wrath… the roar..

who is to blame??
The one who killed?
Or the ones who died??

It you…
you who gave the psycho the childhood in w/c he grew..

I wish every1 in this world cud understand..
Its we.. its in our hand..
To shape the future..
To build a beautiful mind…
Grow gems in ure family…
Let their souls be kind..

Don’t give them a childhood of abuse…
It’ll come back to you one day…
and u’ll repent..
u’ll resent..
and u’ll wish u cud make an amend…

u’ll never b able 2 4give urself…
for killing the innocent..
the ones u killed now..
and also the one…
whose soul you wounded back then…

It is at times of tradgey and great suffering that bring out the best in human nature. People should not busy themselves with searching for someone or something to blame.

I think that everyone who has been involved rectifying this tradgedy should be commended. Praise should be given to the Students, the Teachers, The police officers and the paramedics who were all involved in helping save lives.

My thoughts go out to all those affected by these terrible events.

Sub: Condolences

Dear Students/Faculty/Friends/Parents of the victims,
We, the students of the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Delhi,

India are shocked at the yesterday’s incident that took place in the

Advanced Hydrology Class. It was an unfortunate incident in its worst

possible form. We understand the pain that you’d be feeling. We share

your grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with the students at Virginia

Tech, their families and the whole student and faculty community. The

victims were those who were going to be the engineers of a new, better

world, and were working for our comfortable future. Though no words can

fill the void created by this unfortunate incident, but at this point

of time we certainly would like to say that whole civil engineering

fraternity stands besides you at this very emotional and heart breaking

juncture. Our deep condolences and support are with you.

Sincerely Yours,
Saurabh Jain,
