As a Virginia Tech Alumni I hope that as a school we can begin to heal and move on from this terrible tragedy. We are Hokies and as such, we have the strength of a school, a state and an immense alumni network that supports each and every Hokie! Virginia Tech students and faculty will be in my prayers and as a cohesive group I know we can overcome anything.

Lets Go Hokies!

VT,

I am sending my deepest condolences to everyone who has been affected by this unimaginable tragedy. My two cousins are alumini of Va Tech and also work on campus now. I also stay on the campus every summer for a 4H congress and have stayed in AJ dormitory and I feel some sort of connection to everyone, even though I am not there right now. I plan to attend Tech after I graduate from high school in 2008 and plan to major in engineering. This will not stop my Hookie pride.

God Bless all of you.

I want everyone to know that my name is not of importance.  Anyone that knows me will recognize me, and those that don’t should just know that I am a fellow VT student who will remain united with this community in our resilliance. My thoughts and prayers are with those of the vicitims, the victims’ families and friends, my family and friends, and the entire VT community as a whole. We need to remain strong and honor those that have lost their lives in this tragedy. We do NOT want to be rememberd as a school of tragedy but as one of resilliance and spirit. We should be remembered for the people that lost their lives and for our school spirit. We are strong as one and will remain that way even more now than ever.  We are Virginia Tech!

Please stay strong and keep everyone involved in your prayers. I love Virginia Tech and I’m proud to be a Hokie!!!

To the family and friends of everyone that was affected.

As time moves on your heart will heal.
But until then there is only one person that you can look to, talk to and cry too, and that’s Jesus. He will always be there for you, to hear your cry and to feel your pain. Just remember that person that you lost is in a better place. Always think about the good times and know that they are right above your head looking down on you.

Sincerely

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone that is affected by this awful tradegy. I know there is nothing that I can say right now that will make the pain go away, but I will tell you what helped me when tradegy struck my life. My mother gave me the Footprints poem, and it really helped me start the healing process. Here is a little portion that I hope will bring you some light on such a dark day:

The LORD replied:

“My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.”

May God be with you,

We don’t know how or why we come into this world, though some think they know, it is their right. We know not when or how we will leave this earth as it is not ours to know or plan for. Be assured that if we persevere on this planet, being good and kind and making the most of what we have, know, and can share, whenever we leave we will be at peace knowing , yes we did all we could with what we had and we are at peace with what happens next. Peace with all connected to VT

I am no stranger to grief and I know the pain, misery, and sadness of losing a loved one, but I can’t imagine what many of you are going through. I am praying for peace at this moment and I pray that with time God will continue to ease the pain.

I never heard of your school before, but we are all grieving with you in spirit. I hope that this awful experience will somewhat bring us all together and care for every human being on earth. Let’s us all be each other’s spiritual guard perhaps a broken spirit can find hope.

Here’s a poem that i’ve made years ago may this bring some peace of mind,,God Bless

Heavenly Angel

For another ANGEL has risen to the Heavens
Knowing that she or he can look down upon there love ones
Letting them know that I am ok
That my SPIRIT will always be with you
For I am a Heavenly ANGEL
For I am with GOD

here is one more

AS ONE

I wrap my wings around you to give a great big HUG
I give you my heart letting you know I’m here,,
When I’m not I still think about you mind and spirit,,
As my Spirits will combine with yours
As I bow my head to pray my voice is heard as many others
As we combine in one voice
Which together one voice is heard
