Condolences, April 18, 2007

Dear Virginia Tech, Students, Staff, Families and Friends:
God sent us angels to love and cherish and protect them from harm and gave them their wings back on 4-16-2007 to fly back to him.  No matter how hard we try to protect them..something like this happens and then we lose the ones we love.
Cherish the memories of their first smile, first words, their first little steps.or how they needed a shoulder to cry on when the guy or girl broke their heart and they needed you.  Our Children and Parents are all that we have and God has a plan for all of us.
Remember our love and Prayers go out to each and everyone.
OUR FATHER
which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
They kingdom come.  Thy will be done
in earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this
day our daily bread.  And FORGIVE us our
debts as we FORGIVE our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil:  Fore Thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory
forever:
AMEN

May GOD BLESS EACH AND VERY ONE AND FILL YOUR HEARTS WILL STRENGTH, LOVE AND COURAGE. Stand bye
everyone and don’t lose faith.

I feel as though I have lost friends that I will never meet.  I see the lovely faces of each of them and know they were and are children of God and sent to inspire us to live every day.  I pray for your strength to see this thru and live like they all would want you to; to love and live like they all did.

To familiAes and friends, students, and staff at Virginia Tech: the thoughts of the nation are with you. For what it’s worth, please know you are not alone in your shock and sadness. As you walk the campus and go to your classes and your jobs, know that there are probably millions of people behind you, thinking of you and giving you strength, and may this knowledge give you courage.

To all of the families that lost a loved one, my heart goes out to you, there are no words that will lessen your pain, but just know you are all in the thoughts and prayers of many people around the world.  As a mother of a senior in college I just don’t know what I would do if something like this happened to my daughter.  Stay strong and hold on to the many memories you have of your loved ones. To all of the injured in the hospitals I wish you a speedy recovery. To all of the Virginia Tech students and faculty I am so sorry for what you are going through, it is so easy to see in the media how much you love your school and community, please don’t let what has happened change this!  You are ALL in my thoughts and prayers!

My husband and I are both alumni of VT, and my sister is a current student.  We have always felt at home in Blacksburg, and that will not change.  The VT community has always been one of strength and achievement, and that will not change.  We had strength as a community when times were good, and now that times are bad, think of the support we will be able to offer to each other.  Lift each other up, focus on the positive, and keep the Hokie pride!

Just 3 short months ago I lost my beautiful 32 year old son to a senseless hunting accident so the pain of losing a child is so very fresh. My heart goes out to everyone at VaTech, especially the parents who have lost their beloved children and the students who have lost their cherished friends. God has been my strength over these terrible weeks since my loss and I do pray that you all find some peace in God’s loving care. Know that you are all being held up in prayer. God Bless you all. ~ PFS
