My heart and prayers go out to your outstanding school as you struggle to understand the unknowable.  I have been geatly moved and impressed how students help students at your school.  Despite our best efforts these events are unknowable and unavoidable.  We struggle to see in others souls.
The nations thoughs, prayers, and mercy go to you during your tribulation.

A terrible and wicked tragedy this is.
Sorrow inflicted upon all of our hearts.
Those who met their fate too soon did not deserve such a death.
And although all of our souls are weeping,
know that those lost are with us always.
In our thoughts, our hearts and our memories.
So that when we think of them, it’s like they’re still there, standing right beside us.

Believe in your memories, and the ones you loved will never be dead.

My sympathies to those who have lost.

It’s sad what happened at Virginia Tech. Older people should be the ones younger people should look up to, not look down at. Guns dont kill people, people kill people. My heart goes out to all the victims. May their souls rest in peace. I hope this incident will serve as a wake up call that no matter where we are, we can never feel safe anymore. Schools should’ve been one of the safest place for people, schools should’ve been a place where our future starts not end. My prayers are with you. I hope this will serve as a wake up call to school administrations and our government, most specially to people who sell guns to people that are not supposed to have them.

A soul shattering and senseless experience that will long live in minds of those affected. There are those University staff members who endured and survived such unimagineable treatment during WW2 only to succumb to tragic events of Apr 16th.  Then there are the students and other staff members going about their daily lives only to be brought down in their prime.  For what!.  For nothing.  Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you all.

I was horrified to hear of the tragic loss you all have experienced & the senseless loss of life of your friends, families & loved ones.

I personally do not know anyone from VA.Tech but “I do know” what it’s like to have lost a friend to a senseless murder & the never knowing “WHY” is one of the hardest things to overcome.

My thoughts & prayers go out to all the Friends & Families of all the Virginia Tech students & faculty who lost someone close to them.

There are are not enough words to be said of how I feel your grief & “I’m Sorry for all of your losses” As hard as it may be to hear these words today know that if you stay strong.....

We all are losers and victims including the person who commited this crime. It is really hard to accept this as a fact. I am really sorry for those who lost their loved one. But we should learn something, at least one thing through this tragedy. And we should give all efforts to search for the ways to prevent future tradegy.
May God be with you and comfort you.

You have experienced things that no one should ever have to experience. You will have memories that no one should ever have. You will know feelings and terrors that no one should ever know. Words are such poor vehicles for the rest of us to convey to you our thoughts and feelings about this tragedy and horror. But please know that we want so desperately to gather you up, to hold you safe and protected in our arms and in our hearts. May the love and care expressed to you from all over the world provide some consolation and remind you that a whole world is holding you in prayer.
