I am a student at Old Dominion University, however, many of my high school friends attend Virginia Tech.  I know and understand the relationships that individuals develop during their college years and to have an event such as this destroy their foundations is heartbreaking.  I pray that each and every member of the Virginia Tech staff, student body, and alumni will struggle through this tumultuous time and emerge stronger than ever.  Just remember the famous quote from Friedreich Nietzsche, “That which does not kill me will only make me stronger.” My prayers are with you all.

Words fall short in trying to express the heartache and sorrow that is felt after such a senseless tragedy.  Just know that greater than any sorrow, more elegant than any word is the healing, loving power of a great God.  It is this that my family prays for to reach all of those who have lost or been injured not only physically but emotionally.  God Bless and Keep you all…

There’s nothing to say at this time to make the pain go away immediately, the only thing we can do is find a way to move on in this difficult and find a new way to live without those we love. It’s a hard thing to do, but something we need to do. We need to turn to those that love us and use them for all the support you need. I just pray that one day we will never have to face another tragedy like this ever again. My prayers are with everyone that has been affected by this and you WILL find a way to move on.

My thoughts are with the parents and sisters and brothers, children and friends of those who died. As I heard the News I was very near to crying and in fear because such things are always so unexpected.
Violence is always a frightening thing, you can’t controll it.

Let me say, I believe that beloved people will always stay alive in our hearts and are with us in every minute of our life.

Life isn’t fair at all. Questions rise, and sometimes are unexplainable. This event didn’t just touch the lives of those who were there, but touched all of America. It’s times like these that you realize you are not alone. People across the country are glued to their televisions, crying with you- wondering the same questions you are- and feeling the same pain, and the people doing so are the ones who have hearts. When every heart comes together, that’s something you don’t see very often, but makes you appreciate the beauty the world has to offer. Although we all wish we could turn back time, it’s not in the cards. I am so so so sorry for the students, and familys and everyone involved. It’s strange when you realize some of the greatest heroes, are ones you’ve never met...I wish you nothing but strength in your journey of recovery.

With all of the constant pain and grief that we as human beings have to face. It adds insult to injury when a person’s life is taken by an evil and mean spirited misguided person. My heart and sympathy goes to all families and staff and all who were affected by this. I can only hope and pray for a better world and although it seems hopeless at times, There are still good people here on earth who care. We have to hold on to what love truely is.

My heart grieves for each family member and friends of those who were killed and for those injured I pray that God will heal you soon. I pray that if anyone who reads this, if you are saved by the Grace of God please give your heart to Him before it is too late. I am so sorry that this happened. I pray that God will put His loving arms around each of you. Our church will be praying for all. God only knows why this happened. It is hard to know what to say. I can’t imagine one of my children or grandchildren dying as such a young age. Wish I could be there to put my arms around each of you and let you know how much the people love you and share in your loss. I don’t know anyone there, but I love each and everyone. May GOD be with you. Put your faith in Him and it will be a great comfort to you. Love & Prayers,

I watch my TV with complete Disbelief! My prayers are with the entire Virginia Tech Community, especially the Parents, Husbands, Wives, Aunts and Uncles of these very Promising Students whose Lives were horribly taken from them and from our World!
As President Bush said today, it is going to be hard, but some day Virginia Tech’s community will be able to go Forward! And as your Distinguished Professor said “You will be Sad for quite a while, but You will be able to move on in time because you are Virginia Tech Hokies”
May God Bless you all!!!!

When I heard the news I was speechless.
When I was told this was happened by a Korean-American, this was unbelievable.

¢º¢¸May all the innocent victims rest in peace!!

I am a Korean, born here, grew up here
and never been there(the United States).
I want to say the tragedy is happened
just by a stupid, crazy, insane asshole,
not by a Korean.

I know life of the victims’ families will never be like before. Sometimes we feel so sad when we must forget somebody little by little everyday.
I have my family and kids.
In Korean proverbs when you lost one of your family or someone special in your life,
you say “I’m burying him/her in my heart”
God bless the lefts!!

The whole world feels the loss of these developing minds and bodies, and those who aided in their development, who succumbed to this tragedy. Who knows what wonders might have been created from these students, or what dreams realized in future students by the teachers who left the world that day.
This tragedy witnessed a garden trampled.
I pray for all the VT family, students, faculty, workers and friends.
