Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims, family, students, and staff. I came across this today and it made me think of each and everyone affected by this tragic event.

GOD KNOWS
Whenever you know a desolate hour
And are steeped in misery
Remember God is always there.
God knows our sorrow, and grief.
God knows how hard the road will be.
But trust in him, and believe.
God will give you the strength you need,
To over come this tragedy.

May God give you the strength you need. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Безумно жалко невинных жертв. За что? За что гибнут люди от рук страшных убийц? Столько судеб, столько жизней… Горе родственников, трагедия для всей страны.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

A Prayer from the Heart: Heavenly Father, Your Word promises that you will not give us more than we can bear; You have promised to lift us out of our grief and despair. Today, Lord, I pray for those who mourn, and I thank You for sustaining all of them in their days of sorrow. May we trust You always and praise You forever. Amen

As I sit here and I watch the news and I read the newspaper and every thing I hear about is the school shooting I cant help but cry. I feel the pain that the fmailies and the students and the faculty at Virginia Tech feel. Within a matter of two hours 32 people died, because one person had many problems that he could not deal with. I feel Bad for him… that his difficulty in life had resulted in a mass murder of innocent people. After this has happened it has once again opened the eyes of many people and showed them that people in this nation have to come together. We have to unite. We have to be their for eachother. Realize that not everyone is perfect, that no one is always happy. Be their for one eachother and let people no that maybe you werent so close to that your their if they ever need someone.  I want all of the families and friends who lost someone one monday the 16th that I feel your pain as well with the rest of the world. You are not alone in this. This was a devastation to the whole world. An unexpected tradgedy that no one would have expected when they woke up that morning and went to class. Its Very Sad. My Best Wishes....

The actual tragedies of life bear no relation to one’s preconceived ideas. In the event, one is always bewildered by their simplicity, their grandeur of design, and by that element of the bizzare which seems inherent in them.

I am a Penn State grad living in Northern VA.  When the news broke of the horrific events occuring in Blacksburg, I was instantly in shock.  I followed the news all day, and it is so surreal that this happened.  I thought, “This could have happened in State College..”

At times like this, there are no college rivalries.  I will be wearing the Virginia Tech colors this Friday.  This Nittany Lion is proud to be a Hokie.  Stay strong Hokies, we are all behind you.

God Bless the families and friends of those lost.  I will never forget.
