Let it Go” a song by Kyle Really broke me down to realize the pain I was feeling. It goes as follows:Every night I lie awake my thoughts come rolling in love is won, love is lost and loves that might have been I see the ghost of long lost hope and shattered broken dreams I know it’s time to carry on It’s harder than it seems
I gotta let it go, all the pain and strife
I gotta let it go, and move on with my life
I gotta let it go,It’s time to let it be
I gotta let it go and then I can be free
The times gone by, I can’t deny
They’ve left their mark on me Don’t understand the masters plan that only God can see
I need to know, I wanna Go and lock it all inside I wonder why and say Goodbye
and gather up my pride I know I have the will to carry on life’s made me strong
I’ve learned too much to turn my head away
I’m gonna stay and brick by brick
I’ll build my life again and I’ll begin
to learn from all of my mistakes
then let them fly away I suggest that anyone who has not heard this to listen to it. It may break your heart at first but it has a real strong message that all the victims would want you to follow. My love and prayers to all who are touched by this tragedy.

As a teacher, I feel passionately that schools should be a safe place for learning and social interaction that moves our world forward.

I have no words to describe the sadness in my heart.

I hope that teachers everywhere can do their part to ensure this never happens again. Reach your children - regardless of state standards - reach them morally and hold them tight.

May peace be with you.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by the unfortunate events that have fallen upon the VT community.  I am unable to fathom the emotions that each and everyone of you are feeling.  I am praying that each and everyone of you will have the strength and courage to finish out your last couple of weeks of this semester.  I can only imagine how difficult it will be for you all to focus in the classrooms.  Each and everyone of you and your families are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Today we are all Hokies.

May God bless you and keep you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this tragic time.  I ask God every day why things like this happen.  I am a school teacher and knowing the horrible things that can happen to children and young adults saddens me.  Remember to live every day to its fullest. Never have any regrets.  Try to find some solitude in this time of sorrow.  May peace be with you all.

As I follow the events unfolding with this terrible tragedy, it causes me to weep several times a day. What I want to say is I appreciate learning about the wonderful people who lost their lives. I honor those doing the important work, and ones that were about to do important work; the fun-loving, life-affirming individuals who improved the lives of everyone around them; and especially the students, all those lives that were just starting, who were struggling with many commitments and responsibilities for the first time in their lives, who were good classmates, citizens, sons and daughters, who will be immortal as part of Virginia Tech but will never graduate. I am glad I met you.

April 18, 2007, 7:11pm • Perris, CA • #20775

To all who have been affected by this loss I have you in my mind , prayer, and soul.

Everyone must stand together in moments like this to come to a realization that we all are one and we all need to be vigilant to protect each other from something happening like this again.

The schools, cities and police can only do so much and that’s why it is up to all of us to inform them on any concerns and thoughts of people of concern and they need to listen with great concern from here on in.

We learn from tragic days and must never forget what has happened.  I feel so deeply sadened by the outcome of this event and wish you all a peace within your hearts.

It will never be forgotten, but you all will grow stronger and your hearts and souls will heal with time.  Talk to people as much as you can to release the negitive feelings as these thoughts will only destroy your inner self. enough has already been taken from you.

Come together as one, be as one and pray as one.

My heart goes out to all of you.

You are loved more than you know!

To the students, faculty, and staff at Virginia Tech:

I want to express my deep sorrow for your tragedy on Monday. I remember a visit to your lovely campus in 2000 as a member of West Virginia University’s Rugby team, and how impressed I was with the people who represented your school. I hope that this horrible act doesn’t destroy the pride of your school, and I know Hokie nation will be strong again.

God bless,

In your darkest hour
When you have lost someone so dear
All you want to do is shed your lonley tears
No one understands the pain your going through
Memories are all that is left of hearts than shone so true
Hold onto the memories and never let them go
You will learn to live again and let your laughter show
Gone will go the heartache,
The sorrow and the tears
Remember all the happy times of the former years
Because you know they are waiting you need not say goodbye
For as long as you hold them in your heart
Those Hokies shall never die.

With deepest sympathy

A message from a Teacher . . .

I am praying for all teachers, professors, faculty and staff, as well as all students of Virginia Tech. I ask the All Mighty to raise you up with the palm of his hand and cast all sorrow away so that you continue. Continue with your lives on that beautiful campus, growing in knowledge and direction. You are needed in this world and tragedy as great as this will not prevail . . . it will be you. You are magnificent and are loved and are prayed for.

Go forward for our precious friends and family who do not join you today. May peace come to their loved ones, and to all of us who mourn this great loss of life. I pray we rais up and go forward in their honor.

I commend all students of VT, who made the world so very proud at your services for those we lost. And, I pray that you find the strength now, to continue building your futures. I am very, very proud of you.

A friend once told me that in every tragedy, God leaves a miracle...a symbol of His love. Go forth and see your miracle.

Sincerely,

I can’t even begin to imagine what the friends and families of the fallen are going through.  I don’t know how I would feel if something as tragic were to bring itself to our city.  The threats are nerve racking enough.  It makes me cry to think of all those lives that were lost and didn’t deserve to be.  My blessings are with everyone who lost someone that day and good luck to the future, it may take a while, but we will all get through this together.

Our thoughts, our hearts, our souls will never be the same again.  Days will pass, months and even years will pass, but nothing will ever change the fact that we lost so many beautiful and talented human beings to such senseless violence.  Those of us who continue to live and breathe yet another day must honor them, not by anger and bitterness, but with understanding and above all, love.  We are their legacy now.
