From a Texas Longhorn to the Hokie family.  May God be with each and everyone of you. This sad day will be with you all for a very long time however remember the good times and positive light each of these people had in your life and in the VT experience. Keep each other close and share your grief, anger and concerns with one another, for only in this way will we be able to move forward!

It is unbelievable to hear what has happened. Why? That’s the question I always ask myself these days. Why? Why did he killed innocent people? Why did nobody noticed anything at all before it happened? Why? I offer my condolences to the families of the victims. Life goes on. But still I think: Why?

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AND THOSE WHO SEEK TO DESTROY OR TAKE AWAY LIFE ARE TAKING AWAY THE BEAUTY. NO INNOCENT PERSON DESERVES TO DIE THE DEATH THESE LOVELY PEOPLE PURSUING HIGHER EDUCATION TO BETTER HUMANITY FACED. THIS EVENT REMINDS US THAT THE WORLD IS FULL OF EVIL BUT IT ALSO REMINDS US THAT WHEN WE COME TOGETHER WE CAN STILL OVERCOME EVIL. TODAY WE SHARE WITH THE FAMILIES IN THEIR GRIEF AND ARE SADDENED BY THIS ILLOGICAL EVENT. WE ARE TRULY

To All Students and Faculty at Virginia Tech University,

I give my condolence to the 32 victims who were killed on Monday’s shooting in Amber Johnson Hall and in Noris Hall.

When I saw the special report on Channel 11 at 1:00 p.m. PST. I heard that there was a shooting at your school and students and teachers were killed in both buildings.

Yesterday was a sad day for the school that 32 people have died in the shooting by a student. This reminds me of the tradegy that happened in Columbine High School on (4/20/99). I would pray to the victims and their family and I hope this tradegy would never happened again especially all the other schools. I hope there will be more security guards that would be more safe and protected from the incident that happen on Monday.

Pray for the victims who are recovering for the hospital and the victims.

I want to express my sincere condolences toward the students, faculty, staff and families of the slain.  When I first saw the report of shootings, I was terrified.  All I could think about is I hope everyone is okay.  I have read the information available about the victims who lost there lives and they all seem like amazing people who had great lives.  I was in tears reading through the profiles.  I am a graduate of a university in this area and I know it hurts when you lose friends and professors that are so close to you, but all we can do now is just pray for strength.  Again I will keep the University and the families in my prayers.

April 18, 2007, 2:39am • Austin, Texas • #5757

I am still in awe over how something like this could happen in such a nice area. I am praying for your community and university and also for the victims and families who will never see their loved ones again. The Lord feels your grief, and He knows your sorrows. Please know that I am praying for all of the community to experience and know His peace, comfort, joy, and strength once again. Much love and prayers for you,

Tim GO HOKIES!

1. I convey to every one concerned my really Deepest and Profound SORROW and feeling of LOSSES, caused by a very poor and miserally mentally low student, who lived sometime in your beautiful and memorable CAMPUS.

2. Nobody lives eternally. Only there is who goes
a bit sooner or later. Let’s get up again bravely for the lost and talented.

3. Once again deepest SORROW and feeling of LOSSES beyond description…

( A Korean male at the age of 65, living in the vicinity of Seoul,
Republic of Korea, who have passed so many crises of losing the life during my military service for
30 months at the ROK Army, discharged 41 years ago. Good bye! and please remain eternally in our breasts.)

Sincerely yours.

I am sad about the tragedy that has happened. I know that this is the time that we all have to unite together as a whole to deal with it. We will be mourning for a while, but I hope this tragedy will remind us that afterall we are one big family. I have no relation at all with Viginia Tech, but when I read about the tragedy on Tuesday morning, the grief hit me as though it had happened to my close relatives.

All my thoughs, prayers and condolences are going out to the families, friends and victims of this mindless tragedy.

God please come quickly to all who grieve, all our hearts are heavy. Comfort our hearts and blanket your presence over us in these hours of need;there are, and will be many. We know not why and the answers to our questions are too numerous. Only you can hold us together and give us peace. So come quickly Lord, we need to know you, feel you, and understand our purpose in this. We know that we need only ask and you will come. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

Mahatma Gandhi said: “An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.” However, the global community has witness first-hand the grace, love, and peace that the Virginia Polytechnic Institute State University’s community has given to the world despite the tragic loss of life, gifts and talents of students and staff alike.

My children has offered a prayer to each and everyone of you --that you will find the peace and love --while facing the loneliness of pain and suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am sorry and sorry and sorry for all those who are dear to the unfortunate members of Virginia Tech. This is an event that should not belong to this world.

I also ask that the monster killer not be identified as a “student from South Korea,” as it brings shame to all international students and those from Asia. This killer was raised in the US, not South Korea.
