Condolences, April 18, 2007

I pray for all those involved during this awful tragedy. Being a college senior and a mother, and knowing the struggles of just dealing with school itself, it breaks my heart to consider the amount of pain and struggle you all are dealing with now. Continue to hold dear to those around you and know that all of you are in my constant thoughts and prayers. I pray for all the family members and friends that have lost loved ones as well as the entire student body and state for the horrific events. To those in charge of the investigation, God speed and may you bring to light the answers that those involved so deeply seek. America loves you all.

I have tried to write how I feel and it is nearly impossible. The love and sorrow I feel are overflowing in my heart, soul, and mind. May you find comfort in joy, love in prayer, and warmth in fellowship.

Bereavement in their death to feel
Whom We have never seen—
A Vital Kinsmanship import
Our Soul and theirs—between—

For Stranger—Strangers do not mourn—
There be Immortal friends
Whom Death see first—’tis news of this
That paralyze Ourselves—

Who, vital only to Our Thought—
Such Presence bear away
In dying—’tis as if Our Souls
Absconded—suddenly—

I do not know anyone at the school. However I do
know God, and He will not forget anyone of you, He loves all of the familes, and the young people
at school.  We lost a grand daughter a few years
back, and God was with us all the way. May all
of you be blessed and know God is with you.

I am not able to yet process what has happened to the Virginia Tech family. I am so unclear as to how this could happen anywhere but especially at a place that I know, respect and love. The young people killed and wounded, their families and friends are in my heart and prayers. Please rebuild on their memory.

As a Virginia Tech Alumni (1995), I sit in disbelief of the events that took place on Monday, April 16 2007.  Thirty-Three of my fellow brothers and sisters were slaughtered for no apparent reason; I can only express my deepest, heartfelt sympathies to the families, Virginia Tech Faculty and Staff as well as Blacksburg Community.

God bless you all and may you be comforted in your strength.

I have seen and heard about tragedies in the past, but I don’t know why this one has struck me the most. I am here in Vancouver, Canada far away from the place of this incident, but it has made a significant impact on me for the last 3 days. My heart goes to the families of those who we have lost. My prays goes to those beautiful souls who are with us somewhere and can hear us.

To the Virigin Tech community,

I am so sorry for the tragedy that occured on your campus. I am an undergraduate student at DePaul University in Chicago and can not imagine the terror of what happened in your classrooms and dorms. ~Love is Stronger Than Death~The The

Lovelovelove
Lovelovelove

Me & my friend were walking
In the cold light of mourning.
Tears may blind the eyes but the soul is not deceived
In this world even winter ain’t what it seems.

Here come the blue skies here comes springtime.
When the rivers run high & the tears run dry.
When everything that dies.
Shall rise.

Lovelovelove is stronger than death.
Lovelovelove is stronger than death.

In our lives we hunger for those we cannot touch.
All the thoughts unuttered & all the feelings unexpressed
Play upon our hearts like the mist upon our breath.
But, awoken by grief, our spirits speak
How could you believe that the life within the seed
That grew arms that reached
And a heart that beat.
And lips that smiled
And eyes that cried.
Could ever die?

Here come the blue skies here comes springtime.
When the rivers run high & the tears run dry.
When everything that dies.
Shall rise.

Lovelovelove is stronger than death.
Lovelovelove is stronger than death.

Shall rise. shall rise.
Shall rise. shall rise.

-These lyrics sustained me in my own walks down death’s path. May the people impacted in this terrible loss be able to feel this in their own ways and times.

To The Students and Faculty Of Virginia Tech,

My deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to those who lost a family memeber, friend, significant other in this great tragedy, I know its hard to understand why this happened but what you have to remember is the memory of those who have lost their lives and cherish the moments you shared with them, remember that they are in a better place and walking beside our lord for they will always be remembered

p.s, I saw one of the most disturbing situations on t.v.,as chris one of the contestant paid tribute to those who lost their lives at Virginia Tech simon rolled his eyes with disrespect I think this was wrong and he should be fired for that, the producers and simon said that simon was talking to paula abdul when the incident happened, I know public damage control and this flat out lie that they have said is so full of b.s and damage control, I emplore all of you to write to the producers of american idol an ask to have simon fired!!!I Know I Will!!!
