Like all of America, like all of the world, I am weeping and I am mourning with you. I am in awe of your bravery and resolve to stand strong in the face of such overwhelming circumstances.

I pray that God is comforting all of you as only He can. I pray that you will be healed and restored in such a profound and extraordinary manner that you’ll find yourselves strengthened beyond your wildest expectations and that you will know “the peace that passeth understanding” in the days, weeks and years ahead.

I send my best wishes and my prayers to all the families and friends of those that were lost in this horrific tragedy. I know so many people at Virginia Tech. There are no real words that could make it easier but as long as we all stick together and are there for each other we can get through this. This isn’t suppose to happen to people we know but now that it has we have to be there for each other. No matter where we are from or what school we go to, I believe we all are Hokies for now. We all have to celebrate the lives of the people lost. Remember all that was good about the people who are in heaven shining down on us now. I was shocked when I heard about what happened here… I am a college student In Augusta Ga, and I cant even imagine what it would be like for something like this to happen on my campus. it is completely tragic. I onl;y knew one of the victims… Ryan Clark, his parents live minutes down the road from me, he was a great person and will never be forgotten. As far as the rest of the victims, they will never be forgotten either… each one was just an innocent person in the wrong place at the wrong time. my thoughts and prayers are with every family member, student, faculty and staff at Virgina Tech. Let the Hookie Spirit Shine On! God Bless!!

Helen Keller said “Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.” We as Hokies must join together and find comfort in this time of loss and great sadness.

much much love to all those who have lost a loved one. we all know it was to early for all of them. this is very depressing for the entire country, atleast in my eyes. however i cant imagine how those involved are feeling. i cant put into words how i feel about this. this was a very hateful crime. the thoughtless murder of many innocent students and professors. i am so sorry that you must experience the pain you are feeling. my prayers are with you. i must say please, to everyone who can, do not allow these kind of things to happen.

John 14:1-2

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.”

"Do not cry for me if you love me”

If you knew the gift of God and what’s expecting you in the Sky!
If could hear the angels singing, and seeing me in the middle of them!
If by an instant you could contemplate, like I am doing now, the Beauty that make the beauties turn pale!
You have loved me in a country of shadows and you will not accept seeing me in that of the eternal realities?
Believe me: when the day arrives that God sent for you to come into this Heaven where I precede you, you will see again someone that have always loved you, and you will find my heart with all the tendernesses purified.
You will find me transfigured, happy, not expecting the death, but advancing with you through the paths of light.
Therefore, wipe your tears and do not cry if love me.

We send our thoughts, prayers and condolences to all of the families and friends of those who were lost in this devastating tragedy. There are no words to take away anyones pain, but please know our hearts are heavy for you all. Although the heavens are happy to be bless with the presents of such angels, it is unfortunately hard for those of us left here on earth, wondering why these things have to happen to those that we love. The Lord is the only one with these answers. The only way to find peace within ourselves is to believe that one day we too will be standing in the presents of the Lord, and then we will all understand.

Could have been any school, anywhere, but it was images from a place all too familiar.

Thank you to the VT, Blacksburg, County, and State Police.  Thank you to the emergency response crews and hospitals. Thank you to Virginia Tech for remaining strong and helping those now in need.  Thank you to those caught up in the middle who did what they could to help others around them.

Let the healing begin.  Let us learn what we can from this.  Let us honor those we have lost by living.

We are all Hokies, for a while.

My heart is saddened by this unbelievable pointless loss of such young lives.  As a tribute to those students I have created a poetry writing contest entitled Remembrance: Virginia Tech.  I encourage any young writers at the school or from world to stop by and read what other’s have to say or say something for yourself. There is no money to be won.  These lives were worth so much more than money. They are worth our loud voices screaming that they should have never been taken away.

I grieve for the families and friends that lost loved ones and am still in shock by the events of April 16th 2007.  Unlike the President of the US, I don’t believe anyone directly involved will go back to being normal.  Their normal has been shattered forever.

Please join me in memorializing those who were lost to this terrible tragedy.

Blacksburg is a city that I have come to love over the past few years...Virginia Tech is the innermost part of that love.  It breaks my heart that what I have often referred to as my home away from home and one of the most beautiful places on earth has been shattered by this horrific event.  I am praying for all of the Hokienation.  I know the next time I am on campus it will bring tears to my eyes. May God be with all of you and comfort you in your grand time of need.
