Your loss is felt by those all over the country and the world.  There are no words that can describe the sorrow that you are all feeling.

Know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of an entire nation as you begin the process of grieving and remembering those lost, helping those scarred to heal, and reflecting on this tragic situation in your own ways.

I am still in shock of what happen to the students of Virginia Tech, and I am sure so is everyone else in America. I just wanted to let you know that you will be in my prayers and even though I feel connected to the students through Ryan Clark (Resident Assistant) because I am currently a Resident Assistant here at Northern Kentucky University, I have no idea what your going through and I wish everyone the best at VT! You will be in my prayers and its great seeing VT come together as a family.

My deepest sympathies to all the families, friends and collegues at Virginia Tech University.

Words cannot express the absolute horror and sadness i felt on hearing of the tragedy that you all have experienced.

I think America’s gun laws seriously need to be looked at, so this tragedy will never reoccur.

Again deepest sympathies

If You Could Only See Me Now
You’d Know My Face Is All Aglow
I’m Now Living In A Beautiful Land
Where The Wind So Gently Blows
When I Got My First Glimpse Of Heaven
It Was A Sight For My Eyes To Behold
Now I’m Walking Hand In Hand With Jesus
Along The Streets Of Gold
You Have Placed All Hope In Jesus
That You Will See Me Once Again
Your Hope Is True It’s In The Cross
And In Jesus Nail Scarred Hand
There Will Be No More Tears Or Heartaches
Or Struggles Like I’ve Had Before
Because I’m Now Safe In The Arms Of Jesus
Where I’ll Be Forever More

IN MEMORY OF ALL THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIFE ON 04/16/2007 AND MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!

The person who did this was terribly ill. While his acts were profoundly evil, I hope that part of your healing includes a measure of forgiveness.

I wish you all well. I remember my time at Fordham University with warmth and with joy because it was a community. Your community will support you and this country is a community embracing your community right now.

I think this poem says it all…

In My Prayers
By: Terri McPherson 2002

As you make your way through a fog of tears, a landslide of heartache and multiple fears, I’ll remember you in my prayers.

While God holds you safe in the palm of His hand and sends His angels to help you stand, I’ll remember you in my prayers.

Each minute you long for peace and rest, courageously fighting this willful test, I’ll remember you in my prayers.

When a ray of hope pierces the night and your faith is renewed by the heavenly sight, I’ll drop to my knees and thank the Lord for the grace of prayer and your spirit restored.

GOD BLESS

There aren’t any words I can say that will take your pain away. But I must say this to those whose loved ones and friends were taken too soon...they make me want to hug my family more often, say ‘I love you’ more, they make me want to be a better person in this world. I didn’t know any of them but they taught me this much anyway.

May you find, in time, the peace you seek and know that so many, so very many, hold you and yours in their thoughts and prayers.
